Was in the Bay in August, we got 109 km winds. Wasn't camping, staying with family. The solo drive from Perth is what got me looking for car camping options. I want to drive over next year from East Coast in the 4x4. The coast road for camping would be amazing.

Glad I found your channel! I have been camping short trips in WA for 5 years with an RV3 on a Hyundai i20! , people seem to think you need a massive 4x4 to carry an OZtent but its just not true, I tend to take my RV1 a lot recently but its amazing just how much you can fit in and on a small hatchback! Just watched your Big W stretcher bed vid, great for quick overnighters on longer trips.
Hi Kristie It is safe to driving a car if the Thule carrier box is not in middle on the car rooftop? I thinking about installing a awning on my car so I have to move my roof box to the side a little bit that's why I'm asking you 🙂
