Jon One important thing about fishing in cold water is reeling slow Since the water is cold, the fishes are "stiff" and wont be able to smack in the lures as easily. I live in finland and the water tempature is about 5-10 degree celsius.

I love dropping frogs off of the bank into the water, its one of my favorite things to do. That sudden blow up can really catch you by surprise though.

That first white bass is about the size of the ones that we have been catching in Lake Erie over the last few years.

that white bass is a hybrid ! 🖤 for sure. i caught a dozen + in creeks

After a long day in California of online work. I hoped to go fishing. My dad, two sisters, brother, brother in law, and pit bull came to a local hidden river that is the heaven. I had my favorite crankbait. It was beautiful for sunny days and infiltrating beds. I caught a few bass and three sunfish. I kept fishing. The light still out penetrating the trees. The day almost over. The sun going down. I caught a few more bass. "One more cast" I said. Everyone wanted to leave. "One more cast, One more cast. " Everyone was mad as I kept fishing on and was the only fisherman at the small river. I said the last "One more cast" before my life flashed before my eyes. Mind you the pitbull was the nicest 6 month year old dog out there. My family sent his strong fury of cuteness at me. As I was in the middle of a cast the power of the dog forced me into the river. He hopped out the water and my family laughed. I reeled in and found the crankbait snagged high in a tree. I tried hard to get it back. My family said they would leave me there. I was so sad. I yanked as hard as possible and it broke off. I dropped to my knees in sorrow. I jumped in the car. I hoped it would get in the mouth of a bird. Rip Cranky A hero who caught many fish for me and saw life flash before it's eyes. ❤❤😭😭

One of my favorite tactics for these Louisiana bass is a shallow 2-3 ft jerk bait. I throw it over a log or next to a cypress tree and twitch it to where it just stays over the bed. I’ve caught some really nice fish doing that

I feel like you would have a good fishing day in my town, old stripper pits now ponds and lakes. I also live next to the green river which has giant river cats and drum fish.
