My biggest mistake in my 20s... it's giving "The Prodigal Daughter" 🥹🫠 

I think going to Lagos actually made you stronger. No matter how good it seems, i think overprotective parents do more harm than good for their children's development. I have similar parents. Got posted to Sokoto and remained there. Now, i live and work in the same city with them, but i don't live eith them and im better for it.

God just spoke to me through you. Im Ghanaian and i wanted to serve away from my parents after uni. I was torn between serving at home or moving far. So i asked God about what i should do and he answered me through this video🥺. Don't ever think that your videos have no impact. God is using them to speak to others just like he used this one to speak to me. God bless you so much ❤

This video just reminded me of why comparison is bad. I subscribed to your channel because of your living alone vlogs at the end of 2021 which was also the same time I was house hunting to live alone. I would always wish I had a space like yours and basically a bit of your life kind of. If only I knew what you were going through. I finally got my place in early 2022 and while watching this video I was just looking around my house and everything I've been able to achieve in my space and it made me emotional and grateful. I did not even experience half of the things you did and I must say you were very strong. I'm really happy for where you are now and that things are way better. We just never know what people are going through and we need to be careful what we wish for.

I was watching this video on my way home in a “Totoro” & because of the way this video resonated with me no err,I swear I passed my town to the next before realizing 😂. God bless you dear, however mine is slightly different because I’m now doing my NSS which is NYSC in Nigeria so I haven’t yet moved . So I’ll definitely pray about it before deciding whether to proceed or not. 😊

This is just me, lived in ph saw nysc as an escape route, same type of parents but I'm still in it, I'm not living alone or in my place place. I'm still on the journey

Debby are you telling my story or what 😅😅 at least you even went to Lagos my dad literally came to Kwara state (my camp) just to tell the NYSC people that he wants me in port harcourt I couldn’t even go to Lagos because according to my dad nobody is in Lagos, my dad tried to keep me in port harcourt I no gree o that’s how I ended in Uyo to stay with my cousin, after NYSC I’ve been at home for 2 years now, he doesn’t let me go out, the only time I leave home is when I’m going to church lol I’m still waiting for my breakthrough, I call this season of my life my Joseph season bc I know this too shall pass 🤞🏽

Ngl, this is what I’m going through right now. I’m serving presently and it sometimes feels like where I am is not in God’s plan for me because nothing is literally working. Just that I’ve not been consistent with God recently but this video is such an inspiration so I’d just surrender to God to lead me through. Thank you DB❤️❤️

Wow…this is an amazing content to make people know wat they are doing and to be clear in their decision…but just like I would always cry to my sister who doesn’t stay with me…coz I stay with an aunt till now I still really wish to get my own space coz girl it’s really not easy for me, my mental health and all lol you’re even lucky is ur mum…but I think sometimes it’s good you go out there and see life for yourself maybe it could work out well for you if you know wat you’re doing and also involving God too….but like trust I saw this video and it has encouraged me to pick myself up and that in every worst situation with God by urself it can only get better….i went to uni and I’ve seen life too just similar to wat you’re experiencing rn and I feel I already gone through this process…so if going through it again will help me build the kind of life I want for myself then I will be ready for it Fr coz I have dreams just like you I wanna be a content creator….but I feel locked in coz I’m not allowed to go out wat so ever lol I don’t even have friends I just stay at home do house chores and think bout my life watch people RU-vid and still wish I can get there too.
