He hates Chloe because he wrote Chloe based onna childhood bully and when he left season 1 or 2 idk remember the writer wanted to do something with Chloe so they make her more sympathetic when Thomas came back, he hated it and changed Chloe to be more hateable.

All this is what a kind parent would do 😂Also, Gabriel told Marinette to LIE to Adrien about his identity; add that to all the horrible things he did to him. This man is a horrible parent; i hope he won't return in season 6... although it would be interresting to see his past. I have mixed feelings about him now!
Chloe was more of a hero than Gabriel ever was, her redemption arc got screwed over by the show's creator because apparently he didn't like season 2. It also explains why Marinette was a horny creep in season 3 (If you don't know, all I'm saying is she gets physical with a "statue" of Adrien, is a stalker, and will regularly hijack his house.) and then a total bitch in season four being a horrible friend to Adrien while he's Cat Noir. Oh and fun fact, Marinette's parents? Her dad is supposed to be the show's creator, and the mom is HIS EX. HE MADE A FICTIONAL DAUGHTER, FOR HIMSELF AND HIS EX.
Blame it on the writers. Gabriel was a "decent" sympathetic villain at the first two seasons, but then the writers decides to make him a complete asshole the next seasons 🐯
I just hope that in season 6, Marinette feels the guilt of lying to the WHOLE WORLD, but exclusively of lying to Adrien, because it is SO UNFAIR that Gabriel was a HORRIBLE PERSON and no one will know about it because of marinette, like, literally, he almost killed millions of people(without hesitation), he was a TERIBLE father(if he ever really tried to be one) to your boyfriend, he also gave you trauma, anxiety, stress(lots of other things too)... and you FORGIVE HIM AND LIVE LIKE NOTHING F###### HAPPENED!?
Ok I agree but it also connects to the reverse world of Gabriel because she felt like since reverse Gabi Gressette has been to her, then that means she can hopefully redeem the bad Gabriel who ran away and never apologized but made Mari lie to everyone which she doesn’t deserve hates but he does instead.

The movie is a good idea, but the way they did it, was HORRIBLE, it does not give the same vibe, the music is okay(I don't like it that much but it is not a big problem), they REVEAL THEMSELVES!!!!!! I know it does make more sense, but watching the series is all about being angry for the character's dumbness, loving the shipps... the way they ruined it all is just bad

Still annoys me for the end of Agreste Family Arc, 5 seasons in the making which imo is kinda long for just one arc, they didnt even iclude Adrian. He doesnt even get to reunite with his Mom, say goodbye to both his parents or even stand upto his father, something the show keeps building upfor the longest while. Worst is that last season ended with it being the ladybug and cat noir to take him down together and they completely backtrack that

Also how is Marinette going to hide from Adrien that Gabriel was Hawkmoth? Hawkmoth vanished and Gabriel died at the same time, is nobody in the Miraculous Universe besides Felix smart enough to figure out 2+2=4? Especially when Lila debuts as the next Hawkmoth, everyone going to be like. 'WHAT AND HOW!!" What's worse is, according to wiki, this garbage got green lit for three. More. Seasons.
And there is no reason for Ladybug to not tell Chat Noir who Hawk Moth was. Like, I know she has the terrible habit of not telling her partner importante things that happen. But not telling him, who he was fighting with this hole time!!! I know the season 6 still hasn't been released, but since they don't show any conflict betwen Mary sue and Chat in the leaked trailer, and taking the righting skills of the righters of MLB into consideration. Ladybug is problably not going to tell him, and he is not even going to ask. 😒
4:40 not to mention that he pretty much stalk kids... throughout most of the series with the most amount of time being season 5... And he abuses + ignores his kid And he stopped caring about his dead wife that he wanted to revive for the last 4 seasons and have done horrible stuff to achieve that outcome... by using the bunny miracoulus to try and defeat Ladybug and cat noir, to take their miracoulus to make the wish wich will end up destroying something else instead of.... you know... going back in time to fix the peacok miracoulus, something that will make both his wife and Natalie live, as well as Adrien having a good childhood...and on the way would reset the entire show so... yeah that finale destroyed everything about the show in every single facet of reality...
It just makes me laugh at this point how hard the show flopped. As it progressed, Marinette was becoming more and more favored by the writers while Adrien was becoming shallow and unimportant. Which is so ironic considering that the whole conflict revolves around his family. I refuse to believe that this is how they had planned to end this arc from the start. How could they think people would like this?

I watched full ML just for Luka,Chloe,Felix and Kagami which was much more interesting characters as main one.And all of these characters were throw in trash,no respects(maybe only Felix become hero,which I saiying WHAT?).I still stay that best episode of ML is Shadybug and Clawnoir which is crazy cuz this is just AU!

I was obsessed with ladybug and cat noir. BUT at some point, marinette got depressed, adrian and marinette got a couple (but a REALLY weird one) and worst of all GABRIEL TALKS SHIT ALL THE TIME the finale triggerd me to death, rip to me. Just my opinion bzt i think some people agree with me
and THAT is exactly why I felt the movie was a breath of fresh air. Not that it was good, but its view on the characters wasn't disappointing and it was pretty straight to the point. But MORE IMPORTANTLY, it is implied that Gabriel gets rightfully arrested and didn't get a statue. And Gabriel himself apologized to his son when he found out he didn't YEET HIS SON INTO THE STRATOSPHERE LIKE IN CAT BLANC.!!!

I don't know. I was watching this movie and Gabriel was actually ready to destroy Paris but then he sees Cat Noir as his son. Talks with him. They hug and it's over. Well it's definitely better than what they did in this garbage finale but still did Gabriel even faced punishment for what he did? Well at least Adrien knows the truth.

I dropped it halfway through season 4 or the end but I dropped it around that season and never looked back, glad I assumed right when I said this show was going to redeem Gabriel and the show was just going to get worse

tbh i dont think finales will be so good like this doesnt feel like a arc finale bc they want fight between Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Cat Noir i think they risked s5 with the bad animation, bad plot s5 aka the worst season beside s3, soo many plot holes and plot continuation problems to make s6 even darker and thats why i dont really cared for Gabriel in s5 he was lame. The real villain of this season was Lila and we all know Lila makes Gabriel look as a kid. Since i saw Cat Blanc ( one of the worst episodes of this show) ik they will let Gabriel win and Adrien woudlnt know.

Well, you brought up the point that Gabriel akumatized a freaking baby, so yeah, he had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. As for what happened at the end of Season 5, I do not think that it's the end of Gabriel Argrest. He does need to be remembered for his crimes as Hawkmoth/Monarch, not as a Hero who has a statue erected in his honor. It's for this reason alone that I do not think that Hawkmoth is dead. I also firmly believe that the truthbomb that Marinette hides from Cat Noir will eventually lead to mistrust and untimately outright cause our Cat to wander over to the villain side. You see the world we are in at this moment is roses and rainbows - at least with what is shown. But come Season 6, I'm sure we will find out that it's a very dark place. And so, how do we fix this? How do we go back?How do we erase Gabriel's wish? Well - it's pretty simple. As stated from earlier, Ladybug is only limited by how much she allows herself be. This was a focal point when she first started making her talismans that would protect people from akumatization. She has her Lucky Charm. I'm willing to bet you if anything that the story will allow her to go back and erase the wish made by Gabriel Argrest. But thereby rendering the whole relationship void. And then we will get the real finale, with Cat Noir/Ladybug fighting Monarch.
Well on the one hand I would like to see the better version of this finale in actually show. Not movie but on the other hand I hate characters espaping from consequences. Marinette did a bad thing so she should face a consequences and not rewind time so she could avoid consequences of her action. It's a hard choice.n

Adrien as Cat noir is ok I guess because he's protective and cares about the people he loves (I might be wrong tho). This man is the worst guardian. He gives Miraculous because of stupid reasons instead of choosing carefully. But Marinette? I'm sorry but this girl is so cringe and used her powers many times as if it were something totally normal with no reponsibility like to stalk into Adrien's house or badmouthing Lila or giving Kagami the miraculous instead of Chloe in season 3 finale because she wanted Adrien to be all hers. Chloe was right when she said she was the worst ladybug in season 3 finale because she really is. Also, the whole season 5 might have happened because of Marinette's blind love for Adrien. Marinette is teaching girls how to be overdramatic and cringy like a psychopath. I hope Lila will punish Marinette/Ladybug for her crimes in season 6 because she deserves this.

You don't expect Marinette to be some goodie two shoes and plus, the show is intended for kids and it's only natural for Master fu to choose teens as superheroes and not some fragile grown up .. Marinette made mistakes as a teenager .. she can't be perfect, that's why she is a human .. Those mistakes are what she will surely learn from and perhaps develop into a much better version of herself ... I actually liked the season's finale and HEAR ME OUTT GUYSS!! What you said in the video about Gabriel is 100% true; he was a terrible father and person and put everyone, litteraly everyone in danger for the sake of his wife who told him to not try and revive her. However the choice of the writers of miraculous to make it seem that Gabriel is a good guy for everyone WILL have a HUGE impact in season 6. All the people who know about Gabriel are Natalie, Kagami's mother, Felix, Marinette, all the kwamis, possibly Kagami and Amelie, and most importantly, Lila. Even though she isn't confirmed to be season 6's villain, she will be necessary in season 6 in general since her presence is full of mysteries and lies. Lila is capable of using the information she has in the best/worst way, to make Adrien's and Marinette's life a living hell and getting what she wants (let's not forget she has actual proof of Gabriel when she got akumatized in season 5). Also, Chat Noir was missing in the final battle against Monarch but this was not due to lazy writing or the authors forgetting about Chat Noir, it actually is because Adrien knowing his father's true identity and motives is going to be a pretty big deal, something that you could not squeeze in this finale, it would have felt like a rush. My point is that yes, season 5's finale is absolute garbage BUT ONLY if this was the series finale, wich it isn't. Even though the finale is objectively bad, the story could continue in a way that would make this season's finale make sense and more satisfying. Adrien knowing his father's true identity is obviously important and something that did not fit in this finale, that is why this specific storyline is something that has to come up in the next season and also why Chat Noir was not present in the finale and why Ladybug did not tell Adrien about his dad.
OK, let me stop you right there. No. Gabriel was not redeemed. He basically pulled a shadow Weaver where he basically just chose to end his life to evade the consequences. The reason I say he was not redeemed is because of one single solitary thing that you’re overlooking my good person. He never thought that he was wrong. He was convinced he was right the entire time. He had been redeemed, he would have acknowledged that what he was doing was wrong, no point did he do this. Marinette was basically emotionally blackmailed by him.
What actually happened was Marinette gave him one single final chance to turn around and stop, and what he didn’t response was he attacked her? He took the earrings in the ring, made his wish and was completely convinced that he was right the whole time. And I feel like people complaining about this haven’t been paying attention to the series at all. Adrien couldn’t have been involved with this AT ALL. Every time previously were Gabriel or Adrien learned about the truth of the others identity. It was immediately taken advantage of by Gabriel. He could not be part of the equation. And there’s a number of other reasons why it’s probably in the best interest for Paris that people don’t know the truth about Gabriel. 1. The precarious situation of the butterfly miraculous. 2. Preventing Adrien from being akumatized (keep in mind, Marinette now knows that Adrian is a senti and him being akumatized is incredibly dangerous even without cat noir being in the equation. Were depending on what item gets a infected it could very well result in him dying.) 3. How about the fact that Adrien is the SOLE LIVING RELATIVE TO GABRIEL. A fact that if it was publicly known that if his dad was the magical terrorist that had been terrorizing the world for God knows how long: best case scenario would be a social pariah, and worst case scenario he would actually be in danger! Holy fuck, why aren’t people thinking about this more?!
