Hi Natania, I just had to come back to say this to you. Your mother knew what she was talking about when she said that you was too young to have a boyfriend. Also because of her own story. Even when you are telling your story about your younger self and even now, notice that you we’re talking about your self image. You’ve learnt a lot about yourself and even about your insecurities. Right now you know yourself better then before. So when that day comes when you’ll have your 1st boyfriend, you’ll be better prepared. You have experience with boys even if their your family. You’ve heard their stories and have some information about how boys think and act. Use all of the lessons you’ve learned even with friends when choosing a boyfriend. Having a boyfriend is a choice, it’s not a must to be in a romantic relationship. I don’t hope you’ll have your 1st heartbreak but if so, I think that because of your age and your experiences overall, you’ll be able to go through a breakup better then if you were 14. Now you know it’s not the end of the world. You’re better equipped. Having a romantic relationship is something serious. It’s work. It can have more effect on you then the regular friendships when it goes bad. Take your time and enjoy the process. You’ll meet him. Love seeing you grow up. 💕

I can relate with the makeup thing, I’ve just learnt that I don’t like wearing makeup often and that it’s okay to feel that way

I also have the same experience when it’s comes to dating. My interactions with boys can be so awkward at times. And hearing all my friends talk about their dating experiences makes you feel left out. But Natania regarding the makeup, you have very beautiful features, which look pretty barefaced. So don’t be ashamed by it or feel pressured to do something you do not feel comfortable with.

I'm so shocked, it's like I was in my inner thoughts. For a start, we all behaved in a certain way at school and you shouldn't have any regrets because it's deffo part of the teen process, moreover I promise you nobody remembers sincd everyone was in their weird era... You're so pretty, I really feel bad that you had to go through this, forcing yourself to make up and in order to match your friends' behaviour but I can kind of relate I went through the same, especially because I had a lot of non back friends who pressured me and made me feel different... About boys I'm 18 and I've never been in any relationship, I didn't think that it was an issue until a friend of mine got into a relationship and made me feel like I wasn't normal, that I should be scared and hurry up to date me but I actually think that's it's good to wait for the right person, especially in that generation where men only want to share a bed with you while enjoying them youth, don't stress yourself when time will come for you to-date a man you will and wouldn't have to think about it or force yourself. To end reading is very important, I'm from a different school system and I'm kind of shocked because tests about the books we read was part of secondary school teaching, we had to read books during holidays and during school times and we would have questions about those books. You should try to read a genre of book that interests you, you're very intelligent I'm sure you'll find something for you, I'd advice you : the reader, Madame Bovary, Bel ami and Agatha Christie's books. But at the end of the day we're still young, discovering ourselves so yeah, and never doubt of your beauty for real you're so pretty, god has his preferences.
