The only things I won't take that are expired is baby food and baby formula. Pet food is good for a year after date according to my vet. The eggs will float in water if they aren't any good FYI. Awesome haul Heather!! ♥️

Holy Moly you weren't kidding ha ha. Wow that BBW Dumpster was full and you went at it like a tiger and got all those candles out, good for you! it's the only way to do it , if you want it, you have to dig dig dig. I'm a firm believer in this, too many people open dumpster lids and say there's nothing in there, how they know when they don't look or move a bag lol. I just shake my head and think "Wow you missed things in there" lol. So happy for you, you worked for it! Wow the bags of dog food are a great finding also. Thanks for sharing, stay safe.

I had to watch when I saw the title scored at BBW...I love 💕 finding stuff from there especially.

EGGS: take an ice cube tray, one put one egg per cube slot and freeze, then when frozen put them in small zip lock baggies.

When i see products in the bags at BBW, I just grab them and put them in my car then go through them at home The BBW bags most always have candles or broken glass candles that I'm able to repurpose in new heavy jars that they fit it perfectly.. great score 😅

In the plastic bottles, when you think that they are empty, cut it in half and you will find plenty still in, I do that with moisturiser, shampoo and conditioner etc, even make up you will be surprised on how much is left inside

i was even excited about the cardboard candle holder lol!

If you put eggs into a bowl of cold water you can test if they are fine. If any float, they are bad. Eggs last a long time if it isn’t hot outside. 👍👍👍

I love finding the candles!! I found 34 candles on my last dive. BBW is very wasteful but, I’m good with it!! I love giving their “trash” a second chance. The dumpster I go to they don’t destroy anything. If I didn’t know any better I would swear they sit their trash in ever so gently. The candles are always in one piece. It looks like they just throw away perfectly good things, on a daily basis. Thanks for your videos!!

Rubbing alcohol cleans it right off the bottle and candles. It depends how long the marker has been on it some times you get a little marker look.

I use dumpster eggs all the time, but aldi pitches them, might be 1 broken and they about 5 weeks before expiration. Have to do the float test.

For expired eggs, drop them in water and if they float to the top, they are no good - throw them away.
