I’m so glad Rose’s birth went well. I have heard of plenty of C-sections stories that have challenges of their own, so in no way is it the “easy” way of giving birth, but I am glad the stars aligned for Rose to have a smooth delivery. Congratulations to the mamas and big brother ❤
How do you have this much energy?! I have precisely zero childrens and I am now tired watching this! I'm so glad you have a positive experience Rose, my SIL had a similar experience to Rosie and I now have a fear of childbirth. Loads of people try to put me off the idea of a C-Section telling me recovery time is 8x longer etc so it's nice to hear positive experiences exist! 💜

I'm so happy you're c-section went so well! My first one was fine until the epidural started to wear off and my whole body felt like I got run over by a train. Took me 6 weeks to be able to get out of bed myself. My second child my water broke while I was sitting on the couch at 11:30pm, and I had a natural birth. So i feel accomplished in beign able to experience both sides of birthing and recovery.
I had never thought of the possibility of getting your period while your wife is in labour. I hate that. Congratulations on your beautiful child though!

My sister was due with her first in early June and ended up delivering on the 9t( of May. She had had Braxton Hicks a few days before, so went to get checked out. Everything was fone, but that night/the next morning, she went into labour. Luckily they had finished putting in their kitchen, but my brother-in-law’s parents had to be called so they could come and look after the dog and sort some stuff out, like a car seat that wasn’t yet in the car. My sis had a C section too.
