Hi my loves! ♥
As you can see it's a lot of things going on right now! This vlog is about my last two weeks, with contains midsummer (a huge tradition here in Sweden) and me turning 30 years and having the time of my life on the top of a mountain.
And also I let you know some more details about our upcoming wedding, which is in less than a week as I write this.
Haha wow, life is so intense right now. But let's just go with the flow!

@Ekenit Rellum I'm 43.. maybe we'll meet up there.... One day. 😊 I'm from Australia, but one of my sets of '3rd GREAT (x3) Grandparents' were from Sweden both of their parents.. 2 sets of (my 4th Great Grandparents), & as far back as we have records of (1400-1500s)!!.. all Swedish. My 3rd Great Grandparents, Anders & Anna Hanssen, immigrated here to Australia where my 2nd Great Grandfather George Alfred Hanssen (my dad's, mother's Maternal Grandfather) was born. Here in Victoria, Australia. (Melbourne). I've been wanting to go to Sweden to retrace my Ancestry and see where they lived & if there are ANY pictures and ..LIVING RELATIVES I'm yet to meet, but have been wanting to, desperately for YEARS now, so.. who knows?!!? We'll both hopefully make it, one day! If our paths cross, we can grab a meal & cuppa, together and do the 'touristy' thing for a day, before I head off on my adventure, now my 'kids' are turning 27, & 22 this year.. (My turn!!) 😊🐨🌷 He was the 1st Swedish-Australian in my 'Swedish' Ancestry. I know his parents had siblings that stayed in Sweden, so hopefully I'll find my relatives, and surprise them with a little G'day..one day! 😁

I think a lot of us forget to acknowledge how much talent Johan has also we don't hear about all of the great things that he does although we see them in the filming all the time he is an electrician he is a silversmith he seems to be able to fix everything such as leaking pipes way under the ground he does a beautiful job along with you and your garden we need to acknowledge Him a lot more and his birthday when is his birthday Johan is always happy to stay in the background but what an amazing supportive understanding and loving husband you have he is a dream come true

What I really love about Jonna is the mindfulness with which she treats nature. When she touches Flowers, they turn into something unique. Everything she does has a certain magic about it, and it inspires me to do the same in my county. Jonna is a very good teacher. It doesn't mean that we all have to move to Sweden. It just means that we should appreciate the greatness of our own countries. We will have to finde them and really, really enjoy them again. The globalisation has destroyed many of the unique cultures and rituals. Many Scandinavian people refused to give up their traditions, and that is what we see here. However regarding the situation in Swedish Cities, it is out of control. And did you know that Sweden is a "failed State" on the list of countries? It is very sad. So Jonna is an angel who is saving old traditions and rituals for Sweden and shows them to the world. Thank you!!!!

Jonna , don't lose the opportunity of throwing rice or better, wheat. It is an ancient tradition from Rome in order to represent a present for Ceres, the God of fertility. Throwing it you wish that couple to have children if they want to. We substituted the wheat into rice because is cleaner... But the tradition means that!! Congrats dear!! I don't like celebrating my birthday either. I don't like having a party or anything like that, I like to get away and/or just do things for myself. That's why this year I went to another city and spent my birthday going to a big art museum and walking in the park and eating ice cream and it was wonderful. But my family and friends don't love that I prefer not to spend my birthday celebrating, they're almost resentful about it, which is weird I'm like "I don't want any presents, I don't want anyone to make a fuss, I just want to do whatever I want" and they get mad! Why? It's not a national holiday or anything, I'm not spoiling anything for anyone... I get that they want to spend time with me because they love me, and I appreciate that and I love it, but we can do that any other day! My birthday is my special day, it's for me, and I should spend it with me. Next year I'm doing what you did, and going to a cottage. That sounds lovely.

I'm glad you are going with flowers instead of rice as uncooked rice can be harmful for animals like birds I'm so SO Happy for you both Congratulations 🥰 And Best wishes ♥️ Edit: after doing some research I've learned that rice will Not harm the birds, though I personally still wouldn't feed it to them

@@djprojectus thank you for your comment. This is something that was drilled into me as a child for some reason, however the subject never presented itself in conversation till now so I had pretty much forgotten about it. I actually only fact checked my knowledge on the subject this morning. Anyways... it was commonly believed uncooked rice would swell inside of a birds stomach after being eaten and since the bird would eat so much of it there wouldn't be enough space after all the rise swelled causing the birds stomach to rupture. However after doing some research I have happily found this information to be false 🙂 #factcheck

In the US they call those mini mosquitoes “no-see-em’s”, I think that is such a good name. In Norway they are called Knott which translates to something like Dot or Button.

There are many things I love about Your videos but one that really stands out is that You are not ashamed to run and jump from joy in front of the camera. I also do this. A lot. When I get to the forest, the first 5 minutes are usually spent wildly running and jumping around from pure joy. And I often get comments like "what are you doing?! Are You a weirdo?? You are an adult, not a child!". And I disagree with this. Strongly disagree. One should never be afraid to show joy and to live it. Thank You SO, SO MUCH for showing it to the whole world!!!!!! By the way, I am Latvian and Midsummer solstice is a HUGE thing in Latvia. I saw many similarities when watching Your video ;)
