you wrote interesting articles about Ansel Adams and about Exposure to the Right , could you make a video with the histogram and how you edit to reproduce Zone System ? for instance which part will be zone V and why you burn/dodge some parts ?
Thanks for your comment. You've read the article, I understand. I will think about a video. Since my native language isn't English, that will be a challenge :)
BW PHOTOGRAPHY means imaging in greyscale in a colorful world, which is not easy. Awesome! An excellent job has been done thanks for sharing have a nice day.
Black and white photography that truly impacts the observer's eye has more demands on the photographer because it does not have color as a source to enhance the final work. The artist's fundamental enhancing tools are tone and contrast plus his own artistry to experiment with partial treatments in each scene. Your video presents photographs that take my breath away, which have provided my brain with the wonder of the scenes, but allowed my eyes to winkle out admiration through confronting the multiple surprises of each scene. Chapeau!
I don't believe that information brings any additional value. It's just a showcase of black and white photos. It's about the photos, not about the location or boring camera settings.
A camera registrates the surroundings, the existing light, with the limitations of a digital sensor. It's mandatory to edit the photos in editing software for the best end results. It's exactly the same as a darkroom when photography was not yet digital.
