Kevin is a fucking genius, but he would drive me fucking crazy with his perfectionism. I guess I shouldn't bash him for that because Loveless and everything else MBV has done wouldn't have turned out to be as amazing as it is.
Kevin is a modest guy with a streak of perfectionism and few screws loose, Thurston is a pretentious twat that breathes the smell of his own farts. Both put out good music, kevin more so that Thurston, but they are honestly night and day. Also Kevin is better looking. Thurston looks like Don Knotts in a wig.
"Never Mind The Bollocks! What the hell is this you're bringing into the house!" Always good fun to have your parents alarmed with what records you buy, when you're in your youth. In my case it was Mercyful Fate and Venom etc. Ha Ha Good times.
Ordered the remastered editions of Loveless and Isn't Anything a few days ago. They're coming out on June 15th, and if you don't live in the UK they aren't going to be cheap. It's almost $40 to import the remastered Loveless @ Amazon, but I'll definitely get my money's worth out of it.
Whoa, is he saying he's remastering Loveless? And it's a double album? Does this count as the new album he said the band's been working on? Either way, nice to see an awesome band return.
It seemed promising when they reformed briefly that we would hear some new stuff! The remasters would be nice at this point! What's the deal Kevin? Life is too short! It would be nice to see something new, or remastered sometime! If not, I will always be a fan cause your awesome!
I like III more than the second. More variety, Page has some great accoustic numbers there and got more experimental with it. Right up my alley.2nd tends to be samey samey, still good though.
Yeah, but that first Zeppelin album kicks major ass. Just raw and to the point without the overblown indulgence they later got. Although I love the later stuff too like III, Houses Of The Holy. Graffitti is a great album. I read in some punk rag, the first lp is among Steve Jones' favorites, which makes it even cooler. Of course you shouldn't believe everything you read.
Funny, I had the same problem with Bollocks. Except my mother smashed mine to pieces, nah nah Mum it's an anti abortion song honest...great clip chers.
