This album is much less known compared to MBV's later albums, but is just as good. The vocals are clearer, with less reliance on distortion and other effects, but still fully demonstrated their prowess in crafting melodies in a wall of sonic "noise" that we later came to expect and love from MBV. Thank you for uploading!
So, i'm an audio engineer. I listened to those early songs from them and heard about that they ran out of money during the production of those albums. So, I started to re-mix and re-master these, and i started feeling a lot of emotions at the same time. It was clear, persistent, and the 'wall of sound' was balanced. It sounded like it just came out of the studio.
@@lymenos Yes. But i balanced their creation with clear and sharp sound. I used the song 'thorn' from the you made me realise ep as an mastering target.
@@paulomoreira7709 Wow, "Thorn" ia one of my absolute faves from MBV. I am curious for the result you achieved. Are you going to upload the songs you remixed?
@@lymenos Could i send you an google drive file? because they're in WAV 24-bit 96000hz (studio quality), if i uploaded it it would lose a lot of quality.
