You did it again! Saved me 200 coins cause I was no splurging on that damn dryer no matter how many I influencers used it....lol. this and your honest reactions are always so helpful!!!
I love this woman. She does her hair NOT wearing makeup. Natural beauty. Money cannot buy that. She is comfortable in her own skin, and that is so so attractive. Go girl xx
I’ve had the revelon one for almost 3 years now! It is my fav! I mostly use it when I’m getting ready to do a silk press. It does most of the work so when I press my hair it’s a super silky and easy to do. The only down side for me is if you want the roots just a straight at the length you have to work slower and in smaller sections, but I think that’s just about any dryer.

Did your bristles also get all bent? I'm really considering this.
Just a suggestion. Cut your split ends or your hair will continue splitting upward. Take it from me I had to cut almost 5 inches off bc I wasn't tending to the ends of my hair.
So I looked into the description of both the Revlon and the cheaper brush blow dryer that you used and the cheaper one has bristles made of nylon (which is why they got so messed up after you used it once) while the Revlon has boar bristles which are tougher (so the bristles should stand up up to yhe heat and the use). :)
On the revlon it’s cool, low and hot which is why your “middle” sounds lower than the “low”. I loves the revlon at first, but it does get hot as hell! I decided I didn’t want to use that kinda heat on my hair because it started damaging my hair.
I LOVE my Revlon One-Step Volumizer Hair Dryer. I could never get the blow out look done with a round brush and regular blow dryer. Now I can and it looks amazing. I did discover if you pull too hard while you're drying and rotating it will bend the bristles.
You should exchange the one that almost blew up or ask Revlon to check it to see if it's still in good condition. Because sometimes it's just the burning smell of the chemicals, materials they use. The same thing happened to me. After half a year I still have it and I still have a head lol. Just saying because I dont want you throwing away your hard earn money sis. Btw I love you. You are one of my favorite youtubers! 💜💜💜💜💜
Love it!!!! I have the Revlon one and sometimes I don’t use heat protectant when I use the low setting, but I haven’t had any heat damage (won’t keep testing my luck!). I have the paddle brush version. It works great for my 3c hair and my bffs 4c hair!
Those results look sooo good! How often do you blow dry your hair? I’ve been trying to avoid heat styling ( including blow drying), but it seems like my hair sheds more/thins out when I just wear wash and goes 🤔
Amber can you do a review on the Maxiglide it is supposed to be a 1 pass hair straightener with water hydration mist love to see how it works on your beautiful hair🤗
I have the revlon one and i cant stress how much it has changed my hair routine. I have a stacked bob and it takes me 10 mins to get a salon quality blow out with it💕💕💕
Yes! I’m so happy for this tutorial. I bought the actual revlon during the amazon sale for half the original price and this blow dryer did WONDERS. I straightened my hair after and it was the straightest, silkiest, and softest my hair has even been. When I finished I was like Amber needs to review this she’s going to love it. My hair is just like hers. It was between this and the revlon brush and this one wins 100%. The bristles didn’t look like that when I finished though 😫 mine still looks normal lol.
9:30 you don't even need that for a salon blowout. I get the same exact results blowing my hair out with the baby bliss dryer.. but I blow dry my hair differently than most, probably.
Wow Your hair is getting so long! You should do a second video with heat protect and see if you still like this. I like this machine but I find it big and bulky. It took me 2 times use before I realized that
You can buy the revlon dryer here in the U.K., we have 220voltage I think, maybe if it’s the same in Belgium you could use the uk one with a regular adapter plug rather than a voltage converter? The bristles on the fake one you got might not be as good as the regular revlon one.
Hair appliances made in the USA are 120v normally operate on a different voltage than those in Europe/uk 240v, in order to use a USA produced hair appliances one needs to use a converter to step down the voltage. Otherwise you can blow your appliance with the incompatible voltage. When I was in Uni in Europe I had to use a converter with all my hair appliances I took with me from the USA
I used that brush and its is amazing and it does get hot but heat protection helps. My bristles on the brush is not like that it just be hair in there but not as much.
The bristles on the knock off are not as strong as the revlon, it seems. I’m glad you escaped the blow up, but American converters don’t play well with other currents.😔
I love this blow dryer it’s so easy and fast and does the job I hope the sell this for a while. I honestly am tempted to go buy another one just in case I’m two or so years mine doesn’t work and I can’t find it again.
Hey gurl I just seen your video clips used in the dearverde.com ad on Pinterest just thought you should know they using it like your hair grew long because of their products 😂 and we both know you worked hard to grow your hair by taking care of it
Wow I have same hair type as you ...similar length.. what is your hair type???... Luv your review...just bought my revlon one step... cant wait to try it out 😊
Ik hou van uw engels accent! Ik heb uw account vandaag ontdekt en ik heb nu al 6 video's gezien! Ik vind uw video's echt leuk! En t is top dat ik mijn reactie in het Nederlands kan doen!😂
I mean I am sold!! I do not use heat on my hair anymore. However I want to be able to blow dry my hair so I may trim my ends and have a “salon 💇 blowout look” 💕❤️!! Once in awhile...I have priced the Dyson one before and I said no thanks I will pass!!! Thanks so much for your videos it helps a lot. You and I have the same texture hair. So a lot of the products you use on your hair I have been purchasing and 🙌👏🏾🙌🙌👏🏾👏🏾🙏🏽 it works!! Keep the videos coming!!
So, does this one have the right plug for the US? I saw a review on this one where it was smoking and caught fire and I think they were from the US. I want this but I dont want my house to burn down 😒
Did the bristles melt due to the high heat setting on the straightener or due to the power converter ? Can u please do a video using the medium setting only ?
Hey! I love your videos! I have had a life long desire to trade my straight blonde hair for dark curly hair and your hair is so beautiful ❤️ and I love your accent! Just curious... Do you use any of your new devices from any of your try videos on a regular basis?
