Respect mate! Respect! This is so much great stuff! I'd love to get that 'help' blu ray from the beatles, where did you find that one? Great video! Keep making videos!!
Awesome collection James. I thought I was the only other person collecting those lovely red Disney slips. Lol I picked up Robot Overlords in Poundland recently. So glad someone else loves Terminator Genisys it’s a great movie. I’m doin my complete Blu-ray collection next week looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Take it easy bud!
I understand the enjoyment of collecting, but have to agree that although your taste in music is impeccable, I echo the sentiments of others in why purchase stuff you don't like. I would have spent most of the money on more vinyl...
Reasonable question. I have gone through my collection and donated to the Library, given away or thrown away movies I didn't like or were never going to watch again. People get into saving/keeping/collecting as a bit of a obsession. I know from my own experience as well as friends and family.
I tried, then I realized the players can´t handle the discs, so I am switching to DVD again. Disappointed with all the claims and the mass advertising.
WHEW ! I made it through it haha, all in one sitting (well laying - lazy weekend) lol. Really enjoyed it mate, what a collection ! I loved all the short commentary, especially all the "craps" lol - Don't you have "Taken 4, On Ice"? lol One thing I know you are missing is a copy of "Transformers vs. Alien Predators meet The Terminator on Godzilla Island 2" , hope you can see that soon it's a masterpiece of Hollywood cinema! hehe Ok I'm being silly. I really don't even know where to comment on here James, it's just brilliant to see them all, and you've set it up so nicely. Everything looks well taken care of and super organized. I fear you're going to need a bigger room soon James hehe. Really would love to see more movie videos incorporated into this channel in the future. There is no doubt you are a massive movie / TV series fan, so you got a lifetime of videos ahead of you mate. I look forward. This took tons of effort so I hope people appreciate it as much as I did. Take care James
How much do you spend on your blue rays rockboy680, obviously a lot.I have the xmen trilogy, star wars trilogy, force awakens, Jurassic park, Donnie darko, plus loads others.
Awesome collection, man. My only question is how in the hell do you find anything if it's not alphabetized? it drives me crazy if I don't have my collection alphabetized. I also feel like it's easier to find things that way
How do you have so many slip covers for your blu rays? I feel like I never get slip covers on blu rays when I buy them? Am I the only one who barely has any slipcovers? For blu rays? Only a few ?
He looks like he's about 18 years old, didnt grow up when it was released to experience it and realize how revulitionary and influential a film it was in the 90's... all he's heard is "best ever" and that sets his expectations bar way too high, so when he watched it, he was disappointed... For the record, PF is my favorite film of all time
Nicholas Stumpf hehe I watch mystery science theater 3000 and have see ed wood's movies. Trust me I know bad movies and after earth is just as bad if not worse. I literally fell asleep in the movie theater. The only time that's ever happened to me.
Noticed you didn't have Grindhouse - It's what inspired Machete & Machete Kills. It's two films Planet Terror (by Robert Rodriguez - director of Machete/Machete Kills) and Death Proof (by Quentin Tarantino) joined together, and it's how they wanted you to originally watch it, it just didn't do well in cinemas so they split it up for DVD, but the Bluray puts them back together. Also you don't have Jackie Brown, you should probably enjoy that ;)
I have the complete Absolutely Fabulous collection. I am wanting to get the complete Keeping up Appearances. I have Blues Brothers plus 2000. My family completely prefers the 2000. Great story, all the additional characters were great. Best part was the awesome collection of singers. The sing off was excellent. So big disagreement with that one. Thanks for the video. Quite a impressive collection.
+rockboy680 What's your opinion on Skyline, the day the earth stood still, cloverfield, source code, gangster squad, public enemies, holy rollers, great gatsby, j. edgar, war horse, monuments men, noah? Why is Robocop that crap? Did you like in time, battle: los angeles, transcendence? Why did you like American Sniper that much? Why do you think grudge match is a waste of time? Cheers
Some great films and tv series' not all all of them are to my taste though but if want some recommendations here is some; Moon a fantastic underrated Sci Fi film and has a slight music connection it was directed by Duncan Jones who is the son of the late great David Bowie not sure if its or Blu Ray but definitely on DVD, Ghandi, Invictus and Mandela A long Walk to Freedom, I noticed that you had a few Paul Greengrass movies I would thoroughly recommend United 93 superb, no major stars in it but superbly told and acted, if you liked Captain Philips you will like this. TV Series' Joss Whedon's Firefly great series that was unfortunately cancelled after one series but has a follow up movie called Serenity, if you like British comedies especially the older ones, Black Adder, The Good Life and two from the late great Ronnie Barker, Open All Hours (which also starred David Jason) and Porridge (Which also had a couple of appearances from David Jason and also starred Richard Beckinsale the late father of Kate Beckinsale.) Hope check these out far superior to modern comedies. Would to see more dvd/Blu-Ray videos and some reviews on your some as well.
Awesome Blu Ray Collection! A lot of great movies you showed here. Video is definitely the most challenging you ever done but is well worth it. If I ever do an entire Beatles Vinyl collection, if will be the most challenging video ever for me. It will take me I think 3-5 hours to get done. I'll die a miserable death after the video is finished. Great video James. Take care
it's great to collect and have the physical item but these are one item that are going to disappear in few years time as the the formula of internet tv i.e netflix etc will be the way people have access to view anything they want and have there own movie library..the cinema will always be there but as we see with gaming etc the disc or box set is all but over..but hey great collection young man
