This is the bluest butterfly in my collection. It's not a blue morpho. #shorts Specimen use made possible by the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology
I just wanna say thank you for sharing Barry’s story with us he clearly deserved someone better and I’m really glad you took him under your wing😭that’s a true bromance right there😭
I just realized Barry is the bluest butterfly because he's sad not because of his color. Edit: Thank you for so many likes I've never gotten this many likes on a RU-vid short comment, and I'm happy that I helped some people understand why Barry is the bluest butterfly.
Whoops, I just realized I may have accidentally copied your comment. Sorry- It's only got 9 likes rn though so obviously yours is better 😅 Well this didn't last, it shot to 170 in a day 0-0
Drowning in sadness, the wash of rain hides my face. I cannot greet the world this way, nor can I share the look of defeat that stains me, so to my confidant, the rain, I am always grateful.
I remember hearing that only a few butterflies have actual blue pigment, and most others look blue because of the shape of the scales on their wings...
Yup it’s more due to how blue reflects … and you can see that represented so well in this video! That on an angle it looks black… and another it looks blue
Was not expecting that I was like he’s not blue it’s yellow sad butterfly there are plenty caterpillars in cocoons hope you find butterfly love in butterfly heaven 😂
I'm sorry I thought berry being the bluest meant that he had blue balls after Jane left him but then I realized it meant "sadness"....I sincerely apologize 💀 Poor Berry 😔💙
"Jane left him for a crypto billionaire" I DIED Edit: Thank you all for the sweet memorials. My funeral was a truly heartwarming service. Edit 2: Guys stop liking it's been eight months 💀 Edit 3: It's been a year, daddy. When will they stop liking my comment?
Joke at the end aside the color on these things blew me away (no pun intended) I had no idea how vibrant and beautiful an animals color could be. I'm planning on going to school for marine biology but thank you for making this channel and showing us the beauty in biology that so many animals have!
