What do you think should be my next car? Let me know!
We've got a 2011 535d touring as well with same spec (save for the sunroof & stage 1) You absolutely nail what I experience driving this car, it's such a magnificent workhorse. A true combo of sportivity and luxury. Took it on a 3600 km roadtrip where I think it's at its best. We avaraged 7.1 liters. Deprecation is mainly due to high taxes and insurance I think, especially in Belgium. Awesome video, absolutely loved it! We've now only got 102k km so I think we'll keep it for quite some more years as the interior and exterior are quite timeless imho (thank you BMW) 😁
I have an old Bmw e61 with a 3.0 biturbo 272 hp 560 nm engine and I appreciate this car for its good performance and low fuel consumption, these are cars designed to swallow kilometers ..., you can turn them up at a low cost.
You’ve got the wrong specs in the lower left corner 😄 I guess it’s no golf , seems like a great car tho and reliability with a BMW ? that’s kinda rare , autobahn machines are really good cars 😄👍🏻 there is a criteria that I apply on a car that I’m interested to buy and that is that it has to be somewhat decent on the autobahn, it should at least go 200kmh comfortably and handle stable through corners and once a car delivers that it instantly deserves the obligatory clap on the dashboard 😄
just yesterday i've picked up my f11 and in wouldn't change it for anything. The power feels amazing, the comfort. There's absolutely nothing that can compare in this price.
Hi Max, I was super impressed by the “low” owning costs for your 535d. So I’m gonna give you the costs of owning a car like that here in ITALY. Ensurance: from 1.600€ per year. Owning tax (bollo auto) based in HP: 2.000€ per year (we got a supertax for cars over 252cv that is super unfair). Mainteinance around 500/800€ every 20.000km.
Love the BMW F11, nice car you have and great review. F11 is the most beautiful wagon. Extremely comfortable in high speed. I drive a F11 530dTx stage 1 tuned with lifted limiter to 285km/h. So nice, stable and quiet driving + 260km/h on GPS. Have a vid pounding away autobahn in the night :). How is your car compared to the tuned F11 M550d you drove?
Anyone else from the UK freaked out a bit that the famous "Autobahn" looks very similar to a typical UK dual carriageway? I expected that the Autobahn was at least 3 wide lanes and had some sort of minimum speed in each lane. But the speed differential between just two lanes seems very high to me. Just today I pulled out to overtake two cars and the one in front of me decided to also overtake without looking in his mirrors. Fortunately I anticipated his mistake and avoided a collision but the closing speed was a fraction of what we can see in this video.
It's understandable when you have to get rid of a car you had good care of it, and also a good relationship with it and and travel thousands of kilometers and still perfect...
Always get the M driving wheel! The car misses the "Abstandstempomat" autopilot with automatic distance or something like that, Also a cool feature for the trunk: aluminium bars where you can hook in stuff. The cameras for surroundview are also a VERY nice feature. The harman kardon system is also a must have. The iDrive system has a touch controller knob available. The rear mirror shows you don't have the big alarm package, there would be 3 buttons below it. Also "Integralaktivlenkung" - you would love it if you have it. And I think you don't have heated backseats/ 4 zone climate control. Your family would love it. You miss a lot of features a nice 5xx should have. (owning a 2016 F11 530d luxury line with nearly everything in it)
Парень без обид обзорщик с тебя ни какой))) а вот разгоны до максималки на автобане это прикольно!!! Двигай в эту сторону,бери всё подряд в том числе СССР и Российские авто👍👍👍Смотрю твои ролики постоянно
I've been saying that about the run-flat tires forever... They are rubbish! I bought a BMW 320 d e92 brand new, (177hp, remapped it to 211hp), in 2008, with the M pack and around town the car was unbearable! Changed the tyres to normal Bridgestone Potenza and that transformed the car. Did 100k in one and a half years. It was a magnificent car.
Great review. Greetings from Korea. I'm currently driving an E34 540/6, and I've only driven gasoline cars my entire life. But I now want to get an F10 535d, 550d, F01 740d or F01 750d. Based on your experience with this 535d, would you say that maintenance and reliability-wise, the 35d will be better than the tri-turbo d? Or will it be similar?
Looking at an F11 for the uk so no autobahns how do people find the rear wheel drive is it abit dodgy or not as bad at people make out? I often go to the lake district & wales
@@AutoTopnl that was the main thing, i currently own 3 cars, and will buy tomorrow or the day after another one, so that would be pretty usefull, mostly for checking the information with the km and the overall state of the car. Because my daily is a V40 D2 imported from the netherlands with 196000km in 2017 to germany, then imported to portugal where i bought it with 166000km in 2018, so, that would've been usefull back then...
8k+ maintenance in 2 years ?? What broke ? I did the math, you lost more than 30k for this car. If you leased for 1000€ per month ( sports car) it would have been cheaper
Artur M Power The X5 M50D had exactly the same fuel economy as my F10 M5 on long fast autobahn drives (1000 km with average speed of 130-135 kph, meaning cruising at 180+kph)
