Love the apartment! So pretty 😍 As for your big salt lamp, check the bottom for screws to see if it can be opened. The bulb inside may have just blown out and needs to be changed. Switch it out and see if that helps. Hope it does ❤️

I love your decorating style, it's so clean and chic and boho. Those brass accents really add a nice pop to the whole aesthetic too. I also have never seen brass/gold accents whenever I go apartment searching. They're usually silver or black. I always have the desire to switch out the cabinet handles and stuff but never actually do so it's nice you found a place that had those in place for you already.

Get a diffuser with peppermint oil !! gnats hate the smell. I actually put some on a Q-tip and placed it in the plant causing the gnats

Thanks for sharing-I adore and am inspired by your space! My home is full of fresh greens and rose gold/bronze with mixed neutral textures and a punch of black. I’ve always been confused which “design style” to follow but really we create our own as we live. 💓

If you struggle with gnats or flies I 10/10 recommend a Katchy. I live in a rural around surrounded my livestock so the bugs can get a little overwhelming during monsoon time. Got one of those Katchys and I hardly see any in my house anymore.

Beautiful apartment! Love all the plants and earthy colors. You can stop fungus gnats from breeding by mixing water with neem oil and spraying it on the topsoil of your potted plant. One or two sprays did the trick for me.

This is a beautiful apartment. Not sure why you would give a disclaimer for folk not to share your apartment and then proceed to state that you’re in DC not far from town. It then becomes incredibly easy for folk to search apartments using Google Maps and rental sites that look like yours (based on external images from your video). Eleven months ago this video was post however late I'am nonetheless 'So Glad' to have ran across it and might I say, very BEAUTIFUL your apartment is in every sense of the word beautiful. Color skim textures boho theme superb! In reference to plant flying gnats ... a very good friend of mind showed me how to get rid of a gnat problem I once experienced with my plants🪴 which was - 1. to purchase some 'steel wool'... 2. spread / cover/sheets of the 'steel wool' over the plant soil... 3. purchase some little 'plant rocks' then cover the plant rocks over the soil & steel wool, and during your plant watering schedule just water💧 your plants as you would normally do and walla! this will help that annoying experience of plant gnats. Could be an ancient Asian secret because my friend is Asian and a Wiz kid! in 'plant care'. It most certainly worked for me. 😊

About the Snake Plant - try using those mini claw clips, they’re usually used for hair. You can join some of the leaves together and because they’re neutral colors it’ll look fine.
