I'm struggling a bit and falling behind but it is my first year and I have to balance it all with school so I'm doing okay. I hit 12.6k today and I'm really proud of myself tbh because before November I hardly ever wrote. I've hit writer's block tho 😭 thank you for all the amazing vlogs and tips ana, good luck x
Firstly, thank you so much for this vlog. I needed it. Whenever I binge your videos , I literally get so much motivation to work and just in general write. I've been binging your videos from like the 8th November [where you talked about nanowrimo] I had just started to write my book, like I drafted the prologue earlier in the first week of november, but like the actual writing I started at the 8th. Ever since, whenever I feel down or bad, I just look at you and your writing progress and the way you talk about your books so passionately. I want someone like you to read my book, and that gives me so much motivation when I think about how you'll write the characters. I'm currently at 27k words done of my novel [on chapter 6], and I just wanna thank you for the immense motivation. And also for introducing and pushing me towards nanowrimo because better late than never. I hope one day we can read each other's books, because I'm so so so intrigued by your plot, especially this ghost project. It just gets me out of my slump. Thank you sm, and I'm really grateful you exist

I had to stop doing NaNo because School got in the way so I had to give up, but since it was my first NaNo, I guess it's okay. Ima do it mext year 😭😭 But I'll ofc still finish that novel cuz it's an amazing story

just under 18k rn but i'm like 5k behind so I'm gonna try to pull an all-nighter to catch up. I personally work better in the late afternoon into the early evening (4 to 7ish) but I'm gonna make it work since it's easier to just keep going once I'm in a mood rather than try to get back into it the next day :) good luck all you wild dreamers! don't forget to rest and to only push yourself to safe limits
Ana, this was so comforting 😊. I’ve barely been writing lately due to a lot of things, and I always see everyone else on the internet getting so much done and it makes me feel really behind. But this was just some reassurance that everyone has the days they’re not writing easily, everyone has their struggle moments, but we all can pull through them. Thank you for this 😊😊🥰

I remember when I would write at night and it was a different type of mood, then my sleep schedule got fixed. And now my sleep schedule is slowly getting messed up again 😭. Ngl there have been some days where I nearly didn't write, but somehow ended up writing, some days I would only write a sentence but it counts. Your room looks so vibey.

And I miss the time when I had the energy to write so late at night 😋 When it happens on occasion, it's such a treat and I don't want the night to ever end...✨ Also, I, too, am slowly coming to the conclusion that my project is less than 50k total. Considering it's a Middle Grade Fantasy and this is a zero draft, I'm not too concerned, but it'll be weird if I reach the end and still don't "win" nanowrimo 🎯
Aw Sara it’s seriously is an honour you watch my videos (your channel seriously is so comforting and beautiful, i always feel like im in a secret little corner of a secret little world writing my heart away when I watch your vlogs and write with me’s) and i am so glad we can relate on that aspect. Your novel seems amazing, and its great to hear how stories don’t have to be 50K or up. Novella’s and short stories are just as compelling and a means of success in nano. I wish you luck Sara!!

That’s totally okay. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself!! It doesn’t have to be perfect the first time around. Your doing so great. Never forget how far you have come! Writing a plot is a great feat
I chose the worst year to take part in NaNoWriMo lmao 😭 I'm doing my A levels & I just had my mock exams last week so I had no time to write because I just couldn't balance it with revision, so now I'm a full week behind and I'm only at 9k. Plus now I've got English literature coursework which I’m expected to focus on and get done before my next set of exams after Christmas, and it's a re-creative piece which means loads of writing that inst even for my book. And then I have three other sets of coursework I'm behind on. Plus applying for universities before Christmas- I haven't even finished my personal statement for my application yet. Help. ITS JUST TOO MUCH 😭🫠 Anyways, that was my rant. I feel better...sorta
