Very well written. You have a great voice for making an audiobook. Most often when someone describes where they live it's boring and emotionless. You've made it romantic and wonderful. The beginning of your Intro is emotional and real. You are an author. 😁😁👋👋💖💖 Take it from a fellow writer.

As I’m sure you are painfully aware. I became a big fan of your channel for not only the oddly compelling content, but the warmth and humor and genuineness of the man at the heart of it. Your incredibly positive approach to life and your humble response to the good fortune brought by your hard work has been a joy to experience from a distance. I’m bipolar type 2. I understand the swings and the hell they can really bring. From being ready to end it all to so manic you blow thousands of dollars in a matter of minutes. The introduction seemed well written enough to draw me in. Writing a book from a business perspective, is a wise decision. You should be able to make a good profit considering your fan base. And you're right, there are those who are here because they find hood trimming oddly satisfying. But there are also those who appreciate you letting them in and being part of the Hoof GP family. The book will satisfy those viewers. I hope your book does exceptionally well and a documentary will be made.

I love that you open up about your mental illness, as I have BPD myself, and although it is becoming more accepted now, it was such a taboo thing for so long. I had to put my 41 yr old quarter horse down the day after Christmas (2022) and I was looking at hoof trimming for horses just to soothe my broken heart, when i came across the hoof GP. Your books is one I need to buy and then read, honestly I've been watching you now for over a year possibly two and your content has been the happy distraction when my world has turned black. I look forward to your new clips and now your stuff on insta as well, many a time I've sat with my son and daughter after having the worst fights with their mother thinking that there is no point any more and then to have my son ask me what your doing or why the cows are the way they are, and I realise that when I'm explaining to them what your doing, it's because I've sat and watched you in dark times and it's taken so much away because your work fascinates me. And then I get to explain it to my kids and the realisation that they are enjoying your work as well is so powerful. I'm enjoying explaining to them what your work entails and how it's so important. Seeing how fascinated my kids are by your work and that they enjoy watching you as much as I do just lifts me so much. Also its giving them an insight into how much work goes in to keeping the animals that produce the milk that goes in to so much of their food in good health. It's then helping them appreciate a little part of where their food comes from. You have helped me and also educated my kids in such a visual and visceral way. Thank you so much for such awesome work.

I can't wait to read your book! I see that there are 1,739 comments before me and they probably all say the same thing. I just turned 75 and have also had a twisty-turny life. I have a mental illness as well and struggled for decades with suicidality. I was in my 50s when I finally figured out what I had to do to be in recovery and then maintain my recovery. About 5 years ago those feelings of needing to die finally lifted; I was so grateful to no longer have those thought plaguing me. I'm retiring in 3 weeks and am truly looking forward to this next phase of my life. I am very content and am so thankful I have lived long enough to experience it. It appears that you have reached that point far earlier than I did and I'm so grateful you have decided to share your journey with us.

Being a writer myself I love to hear a person's story and yours is interesting and unique. My prayer for you is that you sell a million copies and then some and I pray your story brings awareness to a society of those who suffer from this disease. I have a few friends and family who suffer from Bipolar and from an outsiders view I would never have known you suffer too. Some of them cycle through the seasons and one friend who is closer than a family member just made it through the holiday seasons and was able to stay up. Such a great accomplishment. All that being said, you have sooooo much to be proud of...so many accomplishments and such a lovely family plus friends who love you too...not to mention your fans. ;) God bless you Graeme! Wow. I am just floored. I can hardly wait to read the rest of the book. Thank you for having the courage to talk about your mental illness. I have suffered from major depressive disorder (MDD) since I was 15. I have five friends who suffer from bipolar disorder. And another who recently died in a motorcycle accident ( he wouldn't believe that he had an illness and had been skipping his meds). so I can't exactly say that I know how you feel, but watching my friends struggle really makes me admire you and your positive attitude much more.

I closed my eyes and just listened. Almost had me in tears. Such Honesty. Life is truly hard and looks like you have come along very well. Glad you know HOW a lucky man you are.
