hey mike i called the number given by Dexter Grey on your video and i asked him how it felt to be famous lol i told him i got his number from watching you tube and that he is a famous you tube star now but it seems that Dexter did not appreciate that i am a fan of his now and he cursed at me then hung up on me lmfao keep up the good work to deter these scammers loved the video (Y)
I would like to see you try and barter down the price they charge. Give them a line about how you don't have enough funds and maybe ask if they have any discounted prices? See how low you can get them to go maybe? Would be an interesting change to see how much money they are willing to settle for?
someone mentioned that you should tell them that you are rich and you will be buying a brand new computer and see if they put syskey on there or just give up. or tell that that you'll be buying all new devices because the "network" is hacked.
Why don't you tell them that instead of fixing this 'infected' computer. You're rich and you will buy a new computer that comes with a platinum anti-virus :D try that pls Michael, and great b8 man, good job. :D
They typically say that the "network" is infected, so that even if the user gets a new machine, it will get infected like the current one because it will be on the same "network".
love your videos. your always real nice when dealing with them to see what "viruses' your computer has and love that you dont edit your videos like some. basically im trying to say your awesome
once someone is connected to your computer with one of these remote control programs, wouldn't there be a way to reverse the connection? maybe by disguising a malware app as Syskey or cmd, that will read the scammers IP and will launch malware on the scammers computer? ... I'll have to think about it ...
It's possible, using the netstat command you can see what ips are connected to your computer ... From there you could either start to ddos the ip or start sending it control packages ... Putting a file one the computer could be possible if you can intercept download packages and replace them with the packages you want on their computer ... Would take some time tho
1. Switch syskey to a program that would prompt them to accept remote connection to THEIR computer through that program they use, with prompted window disguised as syskey pass change confirmation. (if that's even possible) 2. Quickly send a virus that would run in the background. 3. Shut down *your* computer and say you think its done. (the tech. support thing) 4. They think you got syskeyed so stealthy messing with their computers, finding information etc. should be possible. I've heard Cain and Abel is good for this.
thank you for wasting their time, and giving them a lesson. These people must be consumed by the need of money, and lack of symphaty for any other human beings left :( it's a sad thing
I'm pretty sure this is the second time you've spoken to Dexter Grey. Been watching a few of your vids over last couple of days. Do one thing, keep them coming. Loving each and everything you upload.
When I ring them they end up disconnecting the number to stop me from ringing them. I've done that to about 6 numbers to date. I take up so much of their time they really have no other choice. Like you said it's fun to hear them loosing their shit.
I think I could learn from videos like this. Some other people are better at recognizing some scams than I am. Especially, the computer service, (over the phone) scams.
I got a scam call three times today from a guy who has my luggage in California. He wants to send his driver to bring to me. I don't own luggage and I'm in Florida.
Scammer here looks like working for international some call centre which used to be a very highly paid sector few years ago but now most of the people left this sector. So it is very normal to find Indian scammers.
Another sign of a clueless scammer: sales tax are set by the state, county, and city (if the latter two applies). The Federal government does not set sales tax for the states. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)
27:45 "It´s my company credit card. I figure since I do work on this computer I´ll just run it through the company and save myself some money that way. I´ll guess that´s the benefit of owning your own company, right? You can use the cart for whatever you want." Seems logic. XD
Get those scammers! >: ) I hope the scammers’ internet gets infected with a Randsome virus 😂 | Invent a virus called cryptid.exe and send it to them with creepy pictures of cryptids😂
"Do you have a pen and paper?" ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFLLL You have a frickin notepad right on the PC... Do these people think??? (The scammers I mean :P )
Right on!! keep making these videos and get this scamming bullshit out in the public hopefully saving innocent trusting people the pain and loss these scumbag criminals thrive on, I hope they are all tracked down and fed to Abdulla the Lover in prison!!
apart from the scam that you have a virus on your computer, are they real tech support that actually provide real tech support when you pay up? or is it all a scam?
Are you using a vertical box? I really hope you're using a virtual box, there are a few personal applications which make me think this is your real computer such as iTunes and Dropbox and Evernote. And your steam is logged in. I would use a virtual box when dealing with some scammers.
I think he uses horizontal box is much newer standard than vertical box. It has a much brighter spectrum of possibilites and the overhead is smaller. That's the real advantage over vertical solutions
The saddest thing is, most of these scammers have excellent customer service. I used to work in a Telemarketing company that was a scam and I had no idea because we had no information other than our scripts and the "product" we were selling. So I do feel sorry for them because I was in the same boat and some probably have no idea they work in a scam (I say some because I can guarantee most of them do). Anyway the company I worked for conveniently went bust when one of my co-workers tried to get information on them. Also do you use like fake cards and junk? I was just curious because that card being valid.
If you call being rude, insulting, impatient.....AND destroying your customer's bank account, and computer customer service....OK, it's excellent......
Sadly, his name is probably still not Dexter. I use to work at a telemarketing firm selling the San Francisco Chronicle. I remember a guy that went by the name Miles Long (not his real name). He would always say, "How long? Miles long. I made the mistake of verifying one of his sales with his real name...he about sh-t and got in my face about it. I don't play the scam game very well. Guess I am to honest, that is why they made me a verifier. If someone tells me that they aren't interested, I say "Thank You" and then hang up. A lot of people in that place were scammers. There were only a few honest ones in the bunch.
