Obviously Phillip is very busy helping make the chateau diaries at the moment, but if he wanted to I suspect he could have a successful career as an interior designer. He has a genuine passion for it and a great eye, plus he manages to have strong opinions on what he likes whilst always being pleasant and diplomatic in how he expresses them, which is an excellent trait for dealing with clients. Anyway, just a thought for the future if he ever wanted to do that.

I love love love the peach chandelier - it makes your bathroom truly magnificent! If it is tooo bright, can you put it on a dimmer switch? Then you can have cozy mood lighting for relaxing baths, or not so jarring bathroom visits late at night. Philip has an EXCELLENT eye; that tablescaoe was gorgeous! PHILIP: please PLEASE do some tablescape short videos on your channel. We see the tables set from a distance or in little bits and I would love nothing more than to see you pan over the tables you put together with some mood music- it would be a feast for the eyes! Food or drinks optional but to see your combination of plates/chargers glassware/cutlery… And finally An official Summer Garden Party! Where is Cat? She needs to experience it too!

I just want to say how happy I am to see that Annalise is still part of the Chateau gang. So often when there is an end in a relationship there is also a split in friends as if everyone has to choose a side. I have a suggestion for your bathroom ceiling I was watching a person doing a DIY on a TV show and he used spray paint that he sprayed into a small pan and then he painted the ceiling with it with a rolling brush and it turned out like a gold ceiling it was so beautiful it’s the only way to get a metallic paint is to use the spray paint can imagine he used multiple spray cans to achieve the ceiling. It be so pretty if you could do it in a perfect colour to go with the bathtub. I like the inside colour personally. Just an idea for you!

Hello Stephanie and Nati, as many people have said in caddeau at the chateau The chateau diaries has helped me make it through the challenging time of COVID. Needless to say I have become addicted. Watching the wonderful transformation of your gardens, I wanted you to know that a technique for keeping down the weed formation in a garden whether it be flowers or vegetables is as follows. Laying down cardboard in between all of the growth, wedding it down, then adding mulch on top cuts down considerably on the weed formation. It is eco-friendly because cardboard is made from a byproduct of trees and is biodegradable. I was thinking with all of the packages you get, you have endless supply of cardboard. Needless to say because it is biodegradable you'll need to do this every spring. But I don't really think that would be an issue considering you have so many helping hands. I personally don't use cardboard in my vegetable garden because it's so fiddly. Instead I use colorless newspaper in four layers. When I say colorless I mean there's nothing but black ink. Since very few people actually get a hard copy newspaper these days, paper bags can also be used. I hope this helps. I know it has helped me and I have barely a quarter acre of property.
