Usually with thick beautiful hair, you attract more attention. It’s not necessary to cut your hair. I’ve never heard of cutting your hair to start a loc journey.
You definitely don't need to cut your hair to start your loc journey. Your hair is gonna shrink up anyway once you start your locs. Good luck on your journey!
My mom has Type 4ABC hair always BSL Straight hair natural then when she turned 60 she just put it in mini twist 2yrs later loc'd & gorgeous she can style them sooooo many ways. I don't like locs I just don't but I'm happy for whomever wants them. I'm never getting locs an would never get locs because someone else wants me to get them. Your hair is beautiful an your Grey's are beautiful no locs keep your hair like that.
I have the same chase comb attachment and made it work for me by gluing it to my flat iron with gorilla glue. It is such a huge time saver. Also, you have to attach it to the other side of the flat iron so it glides through the hair.

I have the olaplaex #6 leave in conditioner, I love it. I use it when I have to use heat, it significantly cuts down my blow drying time. I will say its a no when styling, it does not mix well with any gel especially eco styler.

I'm a white girl with thick curly hair and I recently decided to wash my hair twice a month instead of weekly and besides it takes too long anyway and my hair tends to get dry easily. I'm not sure would you guys recommend the olaplex treatment for me?
