Colt, I buy your courses whether I watch them or not. Just to support your work and to let you know that you are the best online instructor I've ever had. Thanks for everything.
HTML , CSS and React how awesome is that! Colt im so thankful that you and your courses exist , learning web development with your resources has been a pleasure and I cant wait to dig deeper with these in depth courses , thank you so much for helping people like me
recently bought the React course and got so confused with router section. and realized React was recently updated...:( gotta take detour till updated React course comes out next year. glad to know that he will be working on it soon
I definitely agree with others when they say you are the best online instructor. I can honestly say I wouldn't have gotten to where I am without your courses. The way you teach helps me understand many concepts that I struggle with. I have been overwhelmed with other instructors in the past, but your courses are very well laid out and flows in a path that goes at a pace that I am able to keep up with and is comfortable with. I find myself retaking your courses as you update them as a refresher and each time I always learn something new. Thank you.
Love your work Colt. Halfway through your Web Developer Bootcamp and I love how you reference things, and honestly your sense of humor too! Your course to me is so enjoyable to learn, and that comes from someone who struggles in school and with attention as is! I can really stay locked in to your instructions. Super excited for your React course as that is a framework I really want to learn once I get through your Web Developer Bootcamp. Can't wait to buy it learn it with you. So happy to see how many people you have taught as well. Happy Holidays from Virginia, and in particularly currently from Buenos Aires!
Can't wait for the new React course. You were such an important part of me learning React originally (even though at the time I wished there was more of a focus on hooks), and helped me land my first job over a year ago. Thank you Colt!!
Colt you're great! Waiting for the React course. Do know React but your illustrations and diagrams and the course structure makes it good enough for a recap and especially for beginners it's almost like a cake walk(I feel) with a bit of hard work from their side. Waiting for your CSS course as well. Would love to it go over it. Bring it on Colt. Thank you for all the hard work you put in.
I will always make a comment to say, thank you Colt you're such a "Great Explainer". About me, I am your student in your Web Developer and Algorithms Bootcamp, and right now I work as a junior software developer.
By far the best instructor on Udemy! I've taken many Udemy courses, and I seem to always get the most out of yours. When I have to learn a new subject, I always ask myself, ""Let's see if Colt has a course on that!" Thank you, Colt!
That's actually great, I'm a big believer on grinding the basics again and again even at earlier stages. it refreshes the knowledge and always bring up a few more uses that you forgot of it being part of the "basic" language. and also the CSS course... so much to cover and more to get your habits of working in an organized way. Defiantly gonna grab both of them (and probably the react course too) Have a great 2023.
Dear Colt, You are more than an instructor to us. A great person with amazing personality and awesome course materials. Although I think that you can improve your course projects a lot but I understand that it takes a lot of time. Please do not forget to BEMIFY your CSS course for better CSS naming :D Wish you the best, Amir
I second this, the only thing I would improve on are perhaps some more projects to get to grips with things but honestly the best instructor I have come across online!
Hey Colt, is your new React course going to be an extension of your 'The Modern React Bootcamp (Hooks, Context, NextJS, Router)' course? Or will it be a new stand-alone React course?
Just bought the HTML-course. Will buy the CSS-course and especially the React-course! Great! Knowing all that stuff, but a refresher from Colt Steele never hurts. Thank you, Colt!
Great video as always Colt. Excited to see you visiting some of the core web technologies but in more depth. I find a lot of developers still to this day (even those who are senior) struggle with HTML and/or CSS more so than they do with the frameworks such as react, angular, Vue, etc. Looking forward to seeing the CSS course towards the beginning of next year. And not sure if you celebrate or not but happy Thanksgiving for next week ☺️
To anyone new and wondering if you should buy Colt steeles courses, I can vouch in and say yes, his web developer bootcamp course changed my life. I went from being a cashier to becoming a software engineer, now a DevOps engineer. My younger cousin wanted to get into a coding bootcamp but I told him to take colts udemy course instead and my cousin is now getting interviews. So I can only vouch for the web developer bootcamp. I look forward to the CSS and React course :)
Super excited to hear that you're doing a dedicated CSS course. After I finished your web developer bootcamp course, I found myself wanting to do more CSS work. Cheers!
Great to hear! I did finish a bootcamp (re-education program from the state because I lost my job to Covid.), it wasn't as good as yours. I just finished your Git course and going back to finish your web dev course. I am wanting this HTML course. I know some may think it's a waste of time but I feel like more education isn't a waste! And I personally love CSS so I'm looking forward to that and the React. By the end of next year, I'll be completely trained by Colt. lol
Thanks colt, looking forward to react course. I have some beef with Udemy though, i used to screenshot your videos while watching the web developer bootcamp course to make Anki cards. Halfway through the course, now the screenshots don't work, just a black box. It is frustrating, but not the end of the world.
started your course through USF a few weeks ago ; as a beginner its very over-whelming and a bit difficult but defiantly appreciate the resources and content :)
More HTML and CSS content? YESSS !! So looking forward to using your new courses. I'm currently on the ends CSS on your Udemy Web Dev course and you've done a great job teaching it. Keep pumping out the great content!! :D
I am taking both the courses. One request. Please make part 2 of web developer boot camp. Kind of natural progression of 1st web developer bootcamp course.
Colt, maybe you could make VUE course, concentrated on COMPOSITION API? Most of courses is showing mostly older - OPTION API, and users are complaining about that. Me too ;) I know you are probably more...on REACT dark side of the force ;) but STeeLL i think it would be great with your ability to share knowledge.
Hello colt, Thank God I finally found you, I've been taking your JavaScript Algorithm and Data Structure course and I'm stocked on Chapter 30 (wild wild west section) Exercise 44 is giving me a rough time, i know how to implement bubbleSort, but i think the the callback function is what i can wrap my head around. and finally i don't understand what my final output result should be. Thank & I look forward to your reply ASAP.
It's good to hear about the React course, I made it most of the way through the last one, 80%, before I got pulled off it onto Angular (My that's a change of style, but has some nice bits), which is a shame since it was getting into functional react. Maybe make the old React course free, if the new one is functionally based? Definitely needs an update to React Router, a little branch into React-Bootstrap/Bootstrap, protected routes, making typescript mandatory?
I think you make great courses I’ve bought a few of them. I think I’d like to see an in-depth sass course.while css is great once you use sass everything changes.
Hi Colt, Ive been watching your videos through Springboard and they have helped greatly! Just recently I've been hearing more and more people talking about AI's, specifically ChatGPT and how they will take over software engineering. Hearing this makes me feel like I should be studying something else if I wont have a job when I'm finished with Springboard. This might sound a bit dramatic but I went from being super excited and passionate about everything I was learning through Springboard and now feel like its pointless. I'd really appreciate it if you could give me your honest advice or opinion on the matter. Thank you:)
Hey Colt, you know what would be cool? Take a Webflow course, but combine all the power of Javascript with this tool. And for level 2 you could do Webflow + React. If you do these courses you could become incredibly well-known in your community and it could become something revolutionary since Webflow is Amazing, and you explaining the power of Javascript you are too.
Hi Colt! I am Aashish from India. I request you to make an ML and AI course because we students are really excited about the field and would like to learn from you. I really enjoyed both of your courses (One Week Python and Modern Python 3 Bootcamp). I really loved the Modern Python 3 Bootcamp a lot as it has a lot (indeed lots!) that were fun and exciting.
HI colt Thanks alot for making this great courses I just finshed the js bootcamp and I want to get into react and I saw your course in udemey but is seems outdated so I just wanna know like in case I took the course will it be too much gap from today new feautures in react and in case I took the course will I be able to manage the differences on my own cauz I know for sure you teach the basics so well and I can't wait till 2023😅 so let me know.
