Hi I’m Margaret from the West Midlands I’ve just brought one it arrives on Monday I’ve got another janome I had that one for twenty seven years 1994 my husband got it for me I’ve never had any trouble with it till now but like you I wanted one that does a little bit more janome best machines I think
Enjoyed the video Andy, Thanks for sharing! Recently started sewing classes locally learning on the Janome M100 QDC doing cushion making. Cushion class no.4 and 5 cushions in, i'm hooked and now looking at buying my own janome machine.
Hi Andy, I bought the same machine today as my rather vintage Jones machine decided enough was enough. I had done a little homework to see what sort of machines were available but I hadn't actually seen the Janome M200QDC advertised anywhere. I am over the moon with the choice I made. The machine is so quiet even at full speed. Still loads of stuff left for me to experiment with. Happy sewing! x
Michelle Brooks yippee a fellow M200QDC owner, your going to love it. I really must get some more Vlogs done soon. Let me know how you get on and if you pick up any new tips. Have fun Ax
I've had a little play with the buttonhole maker (never made one by hand never mind by machine!) I was off target by 3mm as it started sewing over to the right of my 'target' area - good job it was only a practice run. Another trial run and I think I'll have got the hang of it. Can't wait to start the fancy stitches.
Thanks for the video. I'm having a similar dilemma as to what to pick. This is on the short list... it's pricey though... I tried it out today locally and am very excited. I also get 2 hours tuition if I get it through the shop locally. Would much rather support local shops where possible.
Thank you for your video, I'm thinking of buying this machine but do you know the size of the lettering and is it one size? Looking forward to more videos from you Andy 👍😁
Hi Andy, So nice and personable video. How have you found your new sawing machine Janome M200 QDC? I'm looking at other models to buy like the QXL605 but only just seen that Janome has launched 3 new models. Do you still recommend it?
Delia Bolton-Alarcón hello Delia, I’m still loving the machine, all features are fantastic and it’s a very robust machine. I’ve been making baby blankets and plush toys, I have even finished a king size quilt, the only quibble is the neck and fitting a kingsize quilt under it. It was a bit tight but the machine is effortless though many layers of fabric and well worth the money.
Hi Andy, I'm also interested in your answer here ? Can the needle move right or left ? @Patricia Thomson, did you get the answer elsewhere by any chance ?
Hi Andy, I ordered my M200QDC over a month ago from work, still waiting for it to come in. Did you have any tips on this model? I am so excited! Cheers from London Canada!
Jean Borja hello Jean, it’s a fab machine to use, I’ve found it very smooth, definitely worth doing a stitch guide to see all the stitches. I’ll need to get another video done soon, I have been making baby quilts and plush toys with ease. Highlights for me are the needle cutter... it’s a god send. Enjoy your machine and let me know how you get on. Ax
