Wow, look at you with your brand new customised machine, fair play Chris you deserve it 👍 just goes to show if you eat up all your mash potato & gravy you get strawberry shortcake for desert, nice 1 dude 😁👍👍
Chris, congrats on Strawberry 🍓 Shortcake. It’s a special feeling when you receive a brand new piece of equipment. Good luck and can’t wait to see you work your magic with it. Big Al
Chris… you actually inspired me to walk away from my corporate desk job and start an excavation business at 53… hope I make it! Picked up a gently used kx057… I already hace a kx 033 and svl 75….. mostly been doing small stuff, but hope to get bigger jobs. Love your videos, you’re humble and share lots of good info. Thanks!
Chris, you’re getting quite an equipment Arsenal amassed. Almost Seems like you’re trying to gear up and go out on your own someday. Very nice, can’t wait to see Strawberry shortcake get dirty! Could you do a video showing all your equipment sometime?
I love to watch you work and enjoy your commentary while you do it. The boulders were carried by ice during the Ice Age . When the ice melted the boulders were left. Think about building a snowman. You make the snow balls by rolling the snow, as you roll, it picks up trash. When it melts, the trash is left in a heap.
Congratulation . You deserve it for as hard as you work , I've been watching your channel for months now and I'm not one much to comment but I have to say your an amazing operator . The job you do and the attention to detail is awesome . Your customer's should be pleased to have you do the jobs and not most other contractors . Keep up the great work .
Congrats, Chris! That little red cutie is going to be very useful! I can see that the tilt on the grading bucket and the blade will be very handy in doing those finishing touches you like to do to leave every site looking extra “purdy”!
What did the tall dead pine tree say to the three smaller trees? "There's a brand new 2021 red Yanmar on a trailer that just pulled in to the driveway......it's all over fellas"
That last tree you were digging around acts more like a cedar tree than a pine. the taproot on a pine tree goes down as far as the tree is tall. I've taken several of them out here in NW Florida as well as cedar trees which have roots spread out sort of like an oak tree.
sweet addition to your arsenal Chris. AMI knocked it out of the park again with that thumb setup. Troublemaker joker Jason upto his antics - locking your new toy up, not fueling it up blaming the dealer guys ;p
On yer new mulcher: knock down the whole tree as usual then mulch the outer (top) branches down to burning log size then cut to length. Your mulcher is just a small brush hawg. Look at your operating costs per hour, per sq yd and acre; got to be high. OR send it back and get you a BIG shredder; sell the chips. I watched a tree service chip whole tree branches easily 12” diameter. Okay, it means two men and capital outlay for giant shredder, BUT no burning and big time savings!
Nice addition to the yard! She looks tough. Tinkerbell served you well and Strawberry will do the same. Congratulations on your first new purchase. You sure worked for it!!
Oh that is such a beauty. Sitting here drooling, envisioning what all I could get done here on my place with that beauty. Congratulations personified to you.
Congrats Chris on the new machine. Your hard work is paying off. I know you’re going to really like it. You’re building a bigger business of your own every day. Now you’ll have to hire a new crew to help you.
"Strawberry Shortcake" is a nice looking, and powerful, little machine. Will definitely come in handy when you install the overflow on the pond job you recently started.
I had a feeling you would eventually get your own mini, but I was kinda hoping it would have the ami axxis tilt rotator on it, seems like that would be super handy for some of the work you do
I'm very happy for you - this will be a versatile piece of equipment in many of your digging jobs. Thanks for showing the "strawberry shortcake" to us.
I least a that same machine two years ago and on the Lowest rpm it was as strong as I needed while digging water services and footers it truly was one of the nicest machines I’ve ran zero complaints from yanmar I’m pretty sure the motor slides out on tracks for easy service and maintenance
Next purchases, ford F450 and a 40' gooseneck. Haul the mini and the skid steer in 1 trip. Complete excavation package all in 1 setup. Hard work pays off 👍🏻👍🏻
That was one tough dead tree! First time I've ever seen a petrified tree still standing! Nice looking new machine that needs a bit of mud on it!! Congrats!
@@colinwallace5286 what you’re talking about is the old snap binders. I don’t know anybody who uses them anymore.I drove a lowbed for Years and the regular rachet binders like Chris is using over the bucket are just fine
@@DirtBrute I don’t think those are even legal any more if you’re “for hire”. I just remember the deck outfit I was working for thought they were saving money using the snap binders. Those things are a large headache.
@@colinwallace5286 I think you're right about them being unlawful for most applications. I've been using ratchet binders for almost 20 years now, I've hurt myself one too many times on the pull-over "widow maker" binders while using a cheater bar haha
Chris. Very happy for you with your new Minnie. Chris you make it look so easy. The new minn sure has a bunch of new opptions to work with. Please Take Care of your self Plus Be Very Care Full around all Equipment
Well Chris I’m happy for you brother that you got to get you A brand new Mini , now you have everything you need except a grader and a roller but anyway brother are we missing something here or what just wondering if you’re fixing to break out on your own which I wouldn’t think you would leave your uncle like that but who knows but anyway brother proud of you so you and John and yawls family stay safe and I like the colors of your new mini so keep the videos coming brother
Nice, I originally wanted a Yanmar but could never get a price from my local dealer, so I ended up with a Deere with a Yanmar engine instead lol. Hydraulic thumbs are awesome!
I love that red paint job on the Yanmar! It’s better than the usual yellow color that most of those machines have! It’s nice to see that you spoiled yourself and got the special features for it!!
Does AMI have an LD18 cloning laboratory? You’re going to need a couple of Chris’s to bid jobs, do the merch, handle the books, perform maintenance and drive the haul truck 😏. Congrats!
Congrats! After following you for years, I decided on a Yanmar SV40 with dual PTO. Running a thumb and a tilt at the same time is nice. I did contact AMI but they siad they did not make a Thumb for the SV40. I may have to custom make my own.
i would love to have one just starting out my new business so that will have to wait but i might have to get one of those snazzy t shirts congrats on the new digger love all the vids happy 4th
Happy for ya, Chris! That was a very short learning curve on a new machine... you knocked down those trees like you've done that before.... once or twice. 😇
Nice new machine! That bucket and thumb really did work even on that big pine! You were able to manipulate it such that it fell clean and no damage to the other trees. That thumb is as quick as it is powerful! Seems like some of the smaller machines have a thumb that is slower and probably frustrating. It’s good to see you grow, but it looks like more and more you will need to work all week long to take care of the bills!! I am assuming your earning power does take a significant jump doing it on your own vs as an hourly wage earner, even with you probably making a top dollar for all the years you worked for your Uncle’s business. Best of luck no matter how you take care of things,,,,,,, I truly enjoy seeing people succeed! Looking forward to more Mini content!!
@@JasonWorksAlot ... Long trip Eh, Jason. 🤔 l see yo hav. relief driver this time.👍 What is it Pennsylvania or New York 🤷🏻♂️ either way a long trip with a strawberry 🍓 short cake 🍰...!!
Chris. It's funny how the power of suggestion works. I swear I got a whiff of that new machine smell when you climbed in the cab. That, or you're broadcasting in Smell-O-Vision. 😆
Oh wow, been shopping Chris, have we? What an awesome addition to your stable. Being an Aussie we always shorten things. So…..I’m thinking either “Strawbs” or “Cups”. Big congrats on your new purchase. Take care & cheers 🎉🍾🎇👏🏼👍🏼🥰
