The first movie showcased Daniel and Miyagi’s relationship but this movie took it much further. I really appreciated that aspect of the movie

This movie has a place in my heart because when they filmed this in Hawaii on the island of Oahu, I was living there and remember seeing the filming location from off in the distance at night. My one regret is that I did not try to visit the set and meet Pat Morita (Mr. Miyagi) and Ralph Macchio (Daniel). Now I will never have the chance to meet Pat Morita. But hopefully one day I can meet Ralph Macchio.

Although you might have missed the chance to meet them it must’ve been super cool to be able to witness it being made and to know that your that close to it while it’s happening. It’s something to be proud of regardless 😊

@@BranReacts It's kind of taught me to not take things for granted. I was really busy back then with school and work, so I was preoccupied with stuff. In hindsight, you realize that time passes that you can't ever get back.

I’ll definitely keep it in mind. The movies takes a lot of time to edit. We wanted to get this video out yesterday but it took too long to finish but I’ll definitely keep in mind that episode 4 of season 3 has many references to KK3. We’ll see if we can get the job done for you guys 🤝🏼

@@jgsrhythm100 The great thing about watching karate kid three before season three is the anticipation that you get from what you think is going to happen for season four. Season three is a much funner ride if you have karate kid three in the back of your mind. It allows you to play out scenarios in your mind for what season four is going to be like.

@@BranReacts you should watch KK3 before season three for yourself. You can always take time editing it and release it after you watch season 3. It really will help your reactions for the third season. The show makes the movies better and the movies make the show better.

So many references made in Cobra Kai I never caught. "Never put passion before principa, even if win you losel"..Remember that. You won't hear it until Season 4!! Damn these writers pay so much attention to detail, it takes Watching the whole series and films several times to catch them all !

Yes, it's like every 5 minutes, there is a reference to something in the Karate Kid movies, but most of them are very subtle and only attentive fans would catch the hidden Easter Eggs.

Ralph Macchio was a contestant on "Dancing With the Stars" in 2011. One of the songs he danced to then was "Ain't That a Kick in the Head." Years later, in "Cobra Kai", that song would be featured in season 1.

I want to see someone edit together the beginning of this to the 3rd movie, and put this story as the last movie to end the trilogy. It never made sense to me that Daniel was scared in the 3rd movie after having a fight to the death in part 2. Switch those storylines and the stories flow better. Tournament, tournament, then overseas fight to the death.

It’s tough because I’m seeing both relationships at different points of their lives. Amanda and Daniel are older with full blown careers and Kumiko and Daniel were teen when they met. But if I had to pick one I’d probably go with Amanda and Daniel. I do love Daniel and Kumiko as well
