Did you see us help my brother build a cabin in 10 weekends a few summers ago? Here's a little look at what he has going on now that he has been settled for a few years. I love the update on how your brother is doing. The changes he's made are great. He comes across as a lovely kind nature loving guy. When he mentioned his containers of bird feed and plants that help the insects, he had my respect and admiration.
Your brother has accomplished a lot, great garden space, fruit trees, storage! His needs are pretty much met! He should be very proud of little homestead, very creative and resourceful! Well done brother!
Clearly, the ingenuity gene runs in your family. What an intelligent, kind man! btw, I lost my last cat a bit over three years ago, and when I was watching this video and Happy meowed, my now-mature dog raised his head and went looking around for long-passed Noodle (also a gray tabby). I wish your brother every success.
Thanks for showing your brother's tiny. Brother's are special. I lost my baby brother 3 years ago. He was 40. Nice garden! I want to homestead eventually, love tiny homes. Bet the 4 wheeler would be fun.😊
Was really good to see your brother's place now. It's looking really good. I like how he used the space that he has...the hillsides and everything. The underground root cellar is pretty cool. I loved the shower & bathroom. That's really cool. It's nice thanks for the tour. Enjoyed it Bonnie
HELLO, I HAVE FOLLOWED YOUR CHANNEL SINCE THE BEGINNING. I AM WONDERING IS THIS THE SAME PROPERTY THAT MOOSE HAD? IT LOOKS SO SIMILAR TO HIS PROPERTY WHEN HE HAD HIS TINY HOUSE UP THERE ON THE HILL. AT ANY RATE, I THINK THAT YOU AND YOUR BROTHER HAVE DONE A WONDERFUL JOB. BEING FROM PA ALSO, WATCHING THIS MAKES ME WANT TO MOVE OUT WEST ALSO. I LOVE THE SIMPLE LIFE AND CLOSER TO NATURE. GOD BLESS FOR ALL YOU DO ALL YOU HAVE DONE AND ALL YOU WILL DO IN THE FUTURE.
Thank you so much for sharing the update on the progress at your brother's home. Impressive! And Happy is such a sweet kitty. Nice people have nice cats.
More than anything I'm happy to see Micah doesn't have that horrid quack grass. Careful about any starts you give him. Love all the practical improvements. So much digging for that root cellar! So glad you're all flourishing.
I am super impressed with the thermal regulation and positioning etc of the cabin, deeply reassuring to see that even tiny cabins can be efficient across the seasons
Great pantry shelves overhead. I like the little stove’s straight pipe. His solar setup seems adequate. Happy is precious. Great bathroom with a barn door and quick shower. I bet you might have some ideas about what to do with the ashes. Plumbing seems easy…when it’s warm outside. The protective tree fences seem to work. I reckon it’s pretty nice to have some family kinda close. I think he likes gardening like his sister…nice garden. Thank you for sharing….from east Tennessee.
It’s nice having family near by! I am amazed at how cool we can keep our house in the summer w/o air conditioning, just by opening the windows on the shady side of the house and closing them and the curtains on the sunny side! Added more insulation in the attic after 15 years and that has helped noticeably with retaining heat in the winter and cool air in the summer, actually surprised how much it helped Thanks for the update dated tour! Love how Micah added in food storage - it must be nice to be tall ! 😄
"I put strawberries underneath... Because I could." Simplicity. I love your brother. Wish I was his age. You and your brother look so much alike. I was adopted so I've never had that 'look alike' aspect. Avid kayaker here too. He's doing good. 😊
Brother has done very well for himself. Just like you Ariel when you started out. And now look at you , your place has been turning out AWSOME ..All does take time & hard work. 👍👍😊
That’s wonderful! We are happy for you both. We are glad to see everyone is doing well and are enjoying yourselves. We are building cabins as well and are documenting it all on our channel as well. Seeing how his cabin looks helps give us ideas on what we could do with it!
