Hope you all are having an amazing life. Here is my campus tour of my University where I'm pursuing my Graduate program. My campus is so huge so , i guess i have covered like about 1/4th of the campus and the future videos will be showing you different things in my university.

Thank you for the kind words. It’s not that hard to get an on-campus job in UMD and the cost of living is also not too bad for an average student and however it depends on the student.

As a grad student would you say it's more practical to live near the campus or is it the same thing as living in D.C and commuting? Also, at what time do your classes end usually and how often do you have class per week ?

I would say living near the campus would be a good option because we have classes 2 to 3 days a week based on the classes we take. Also, it’s an individual option to stay near DC area as it’s only 20 minutes drive to campus. And metro is another option. Most of the grad students stay near the campus.

Hey, congratulations. The UMD is having a good ratio of internationals particularly Indians are the second most admits after China . Out of all grad students I guess 10% are international students . Hope I have a little bit of info to your question .

The university of maryland , college park is not that unsafe as you said because I live very near to the university, and I don’t know what sources of search gave you such reviews. The police patrolling is a 24 hours thing here. And the nearest international airport would be IAD.

MPS is not a STEM qualified program, as far as I know. That means you won't get 2 extra years of OPT.
