Your friend said the waste gate actuator showed short to ground and then changed to open circuit when unplugged. Sounds like the waste gate is bad and causing you to lose power to other circuits. Is it a 5 volt reference to the actuator or 12v? As someone who has specialized in computer diagnostics I can tell you it's rarely the pcm. It sometimes is though.

I wouldn’t buy another x3 if someone gave me the money, due to my current experience. Bought brand new x3 turbo rr last September, had it for 3 months and it’s been in the shop since January, bad knocking in the engine. All I did was ride around in a field with my 1.5 year old, and oil changed before it was due. Can Am just giving me the run around, saved money for 5 years to buy my first side by side and this is my experience….

I think this would be a good idea is for you to get with Leo and Frankie and lay it all on the line on what happened with you three and the BS that's going on with the blog I kind of have read into things and I think the story needs to be straightened out and a lot of people have taken sides I'm just taking where I like to watch and on my behalf is curiosity kills the cat type of thing love to hear the real story and I think Zeus and Doug are full of BS especially after what doug did to dirt dudes and those guys over there
