What an inspiring STORY. Please tell Alan thank you SO MUCH, I REALLY NEEDED his story and I need to keep pushing" fighting, be brave, have courage myself. It's really been so hard.. ' I know these stories, as well as his story is helping others. Thank you for Alan's story.♡ A little of my story... I was suddenly diagnosed, by dismissed on going headaches, overall BODY pains..knowing something was really not right, but I pushed through my days as Alan did. I felt mostly well for 40 years of my life, Orgasmic diet, exercised daily, Pysically and mentally I really never felt unwell, 23 years ,worked long hours daily for the Military relocating families worldwide! Loved loved my job. One night I went to sleep with a bad headache , I woke suddenly feeling like I was shot in the back of my head, then vomiting, then went unconscious to awake weeks later in ICU. Confused... I heard family and a Neurosurgeon speaking ... that Mary..may not make it through... we will see how she does.. Weeks later when I was out of ICU delirium, I found I had a walnut size tumor removed from my brain and shortly thereafter, diagnosed with stage 4 cancer! I had a SUDDEN life change.had to learn to swallow, in diapers, lost 1/3 body weight. Was down to 104 lbs, PT and OT, to build strength to sit up, roll over, excruciating pain and. in wheel chair. Through treatments, second brain surgery, Radiation, then more treatments, My body had said ENOUGH severe reaction from the treatments, again I went unconscious to awake coming out of a coma. Again in ICU stay for week. Another long part of story. Long STORY! Its 2 1/2 years later... severe Neuropathy, bone and joint pains, some type of immune issues?, still figuring ALL out damage to nerves damaged from brain surgeries. ..recovering from coma... Main thing is this is not a bump in road.. its truly a FORK and things are never as they were b4 the surgery...I had to grieve the person i was before.. before i could rebuild and celebrate the person I am now...I am of course profoundly grateful to be alive .... but there is no understating the difficulties . With cancer. would be a dishonor the journey to minimize how very difficult is all is. I am stronger in so many ways then beore this. Embrace every moment. Process the grief, the fear, and I get through the best i can ONE DAY AT A TIME,♡♡♡♡ Sorry I'm not great at writing! ♡ love and light♡ Take care Mary

Sound like the story of Job in the Bible , God bless this man who has been in so much pain and suffering for so long. Praying for Alan's healing in every area of his life and he is an inspiration to others when he speaks of his experience. I often have been told sometimes God puts your brakes on so he can get your attention. ❤

Thank you. God definitely threw the brakes on in my life, but I needed it so I could look around and realize I had never truly thanked God for the blessings in my life.

Alan is a changed man, from a bit macho man to more giving and sensitive. He's great about giving back. Anyone affected by cancer should watch this.

Thank you, Alan. My sister is newly diagnosed & on her 2nd week of induction. We both joined the MM Warriors group on FB and it is definitely helping us hold it together. Finding you and the group has given us hope in light of the fear and devastation we felt getting this diagnosis. Though we haven’t met, I feel you are a friend, as we find comfort in your story.

Thank you for your kind words. I am a firm believer that in life, we find whatever we look for. If we look for reasons to be angry or sad, we will find them. If we look for reasons to be joyful and thankful, we will find that also.
