This video gives a great look into the challenges faced by a nursing student from Kerala during the CAP program in New Zealand. Best wishes on securing a job in Australia. Thank you for sharing your journey!
I know very well about the situation there, we face the same problems. Never resign your current jobs for cap course After cap immediately go back to your work and apply for job in Nz or Australia.
Well said dear njn august il CAP cheyan pokuva wesley il Saudi il MOH nurse ayirunu resign cheythu epo 5 month ayi veetil erikka epola admission ready aye ...
Thank you very much for your honest sharing. Some of the bloggers simply say New Zealand is a heaven. Hundreds are struggling hard and even some of them are ready to pay any amount of money. Don't fall into the trap. Now it is not the best time to come to New Zealand! Please, bloggers don't cheat the poor people!!!! Thanks a lot! God bless you!

Hello Meenu, It’s very saddening to hear about what happened to you. Yes I understand a lot of nurses are going through similar situation, and many are still struggling to find a job in NZ. I did many awareness videos explaining the current situations through my channel and your experience is a mere reflection of the same. I would like to know if you have done APHRA and have you applied for jobs in Australia. You can still apply for jobs from wherever you’re and if you haven’t applied for APHRA, do that asap. I wish you all the best 👍
The regulations have changed. Recently, overseas nurses residing in the UK and Ireland can no longer obtain registration in New Zealand as they previously could.
So true. I have been here for 5 years now. I am not a nurse but an Architect with experience in Dubai. Nurse is the only field that used be evergreen to get a job here. But now the situation is so bad for even a nurse. When it comes to any other fields apart from Healthcare, don't even dream of getting a job. My own experience I am sharing here. I am doing odd jobs for my survival here. Luckily my wife has experience from Ireland as a nurse. So after our wedding, she moved here and managed to find a job with her experience in Ireland for 4years. Eventually we were able to apply for residency. But if you are coming on a student visa, and have no prior experience as a nurse in any english speaking countries, Pls don't come here and waste your money. It's a total scam and you will be broken for many years with the expense and bad experience you will go through here. Country is beautiful but not a great place to find jobs. My honest opinion. I hope this helps someone.
@1endgame111 What do you expect in NZ, a country the size of a postage stamp? In 2-3 years the same situation will come to Australia. Australia will get full faster than you think.
Newzealand is just only a pathway for Australian registration.. please up on my experience if any of you guys has not yet started processing with NZ registration please don't go for it.. her words are true and the current situation is really bad and getting worse.. what she said is right.. she is giving the actual information for those who are getting ready for process. Better go for ireland or uk or canada.. now odepc is starting for hiring.
No need to stay there .in NZ aftr caping if u are working somewhere take annual leave for one month then finish and come back to your place and rejoin for work , now osce itz 3 to 4 days exam ...for that matter of taking just 10.day leave and then. Go to NZ and then come.back and rejoin in your place ... No body is forcing anyone to stay there in NZ aftr the exam. Its individuals decision
I don’t think that the employers are not hiring Indian nurses just because they are not resigning in a proper way. When I came to NZ in 2018, with only Indian experience, they never considered me. I only could get a job only after three months. NZ always considers Middle East experience. Now after the boarders are open after Covid, NZ accepted a huge number of Indian nurses. Situations change time to time. It’s always better to do a study about the current situation in the country before blindly believing the agencies. It’s hard to find a job currently in NZ.
Uk we can work every day after OET and CBT, and hosky u will get straight away job as RN i myself work here as RN in UK last 23 years best country comaring other country
@@basilvarghese5418 CAP is run by private agencies so is a business. They don’t care if you get a job or not. Pure business model. Current situation is quite bad in all industries not only healthcare
Just telling my personal experience. Sad to hear that you lost this much money. I am living in nz with pr and IT job but still can’t meet the expenses . Nz is so expensive. House prices are so high. Even if you have job you just can live nothing more that that. It will be difficult to save 10-20 lakhs after expenses
Sathyam ithu thanneya ente wifinte avastha, after CAP waiting for APC mpre than 5 weeks. Is it possible to come back india before getting this.Atleat i can save monthly rent and food expenses. Please reply🙏
Atleast you said it...i am still in New Zealand. ....still searching for job. ....CAP finished in May. ...Not even single interview call. ..One more thing. .. ....
You are partially right. I do a bit of IT interviews as well and have interviewed quite a few people from our home country. Only 5-10% of the students study at university. They end up getting jobs after a bit of struggle. However reminder of the students choose a cheap course rather than looking at the value or scope. As I have mentioned in a previous comment international education is one of the largest money making business. Agencies push students to certain colleges just to make money. Same as any other country in the world, there is a risk factor which most of the students fail to understand. No one guarantees job or PR. It is the survival of the fittest. If a course doesn’t have the required number of students they will most likely stop it. They adapt and bring in a little bit different course. Pretty much same situation in UK Canada etc…NZ/Aussie is no different
Morning all. *Update about Newzeland Recruitment process* Please share this message with your family and friends if you know anyone planning to come to NZ for doing CAP to become a registered nurse. There is a recruitment freez imposed by Health NZ and the government until further notice. No recruitments are allowed even to replace resignations. This could well be in place for the rest of the year. However, recruitment agencies in Kerala are still sending RNs to NZ by offering false promises. There are hundreds of nurses struggling to get jobs after completing their CAP and finding means to meet their basic needs. A lot of them have already returned to India, and others are sadly planning their return trip with regrets. Recruitment agencies are not giving the correct information when they enroll, and they keep exploiting people's vulnerability and desperation for money. I understand the stigma of sharing this news with our friends and families back home as it might get interpreted negatively. Please share it as appropriate. Thank you. *United Nurses Association*
Since yu didnt get a job in newzealand , you feel all things are bad in new zealand. But wen you started your processing yu felt everything positive and since yu didnt got a job offer its changed as everything in nz is bad. Its all depends on current situation. You have said many things correct but not all. Refund process is just started 2022 august . Its just made to refill their vacancies. Im a nurse who came before that and i havent recieved any Refund. So yu got a job in aussie bcoz of nz cap. You are not the one who didnt got the job. But yu got it all because of nz cap so yu can say it that there are difficulties. Do not convey it as nz is terrible.
@@milisonutalesss4566 Did I say that? When I spent 20 lakhs to go there and had to return empty-handed, you can't understand the situation. If you watch my other videos, you'll know that I mentioned I got AHPRA through New Zealand. Manyof thembtook loans and borrowed money with interest, and if you know anyone who is standing not knowing what to do, you will understand. But I know the experiences we've had over the past seven months. I'm sharing my experience.
It's not just me who couldn't get the job. I spoke on behalf of everyone. We never said we want a CAP refund. We said that even if the salary is 30 dollars, we are ready to work."
@@vibesofmeenu you havent said directly that nz is bad. But there is a meaning in some of your descriptions and sentences. Just noticed into your notice not to stick on to that . Not to make you offended . Bcoz nz gov is not responsible for any cap refund. Its just started for a small time frame. To fill their vacancies and attract nurses to nz. I appreciate you that yu well exPlained current situation to all. But there were this situation 3-4 years back too. So wen we try to migrate to any country expected to accept and face the risk . Im in nz since 2022 . So seeing all the struggles and current situation. So dont feel offended . Just made a notice.
So sorry to hear another story from a nurse who went through the CAP process. Maybe you can explain a few things in your next video. 1. After Covid, there were 1000’s of vacancies and anyone even with very less experience could get a job easily, 2. General Vacancies were pretty much full by early 2023. The reminder were kind of specialist roles. 3. Employers were getting double the number of applications for jobs, so they started to be selective and trying to choose people who were citizens, PR or work visa holders. Majority of candidates with less than 5 years experience started to miss out unfortunately. There are more overqualified candidates 4. The most important part is CAP is a course run by private institutions. It is a business whereby the agencies/institutions make huge profits. They can never give you in writing that 100% job is assured. Govt also gets their fair share of tax. The more number of candidate an agency gets the better their profits. This should stop and they should explain the reality to students 5. Even now 100’s of people are halfway through the CAP process. You will see more stories of struggles. As you have said try Aussie and come on leave. 6. Also to consider are those who are here with families. Hope situation improves 🤞
