How about some spot floodlights aimed up from the wall near floor level to illuminate the lower surface of the lift platforms and hence the cars underneath. Colour selectable might be cool although maybe not "disco". 🤣🤣🤣
@@johnrobertson925 true. Just meant it would be very easily done these days.

I'd put blocks in the back of the SLS now so you can get it to stop in the same spot every time without having to worry about hitting the door when it opens.
In my garage I hung a tennis ball on a piece of string so when the back window hits it I know I am in the right position. Could be a solution here too?
@@the72inc73 The back of the SLS and the others under the lifts seem to be too far forward for that here. You'd have to hang them from the lifts themselves so either have to remove them every time you want to lower the lift or risk them getting crushed every time you lower the lifts. I doubt they'd damage the lift at all, but regardless you don't really want to be crushing anything when lowering the lift. I think some tape to mark the position of blocks, wheel chocks or tyre cushions then they can be easily removed and placed accurately again when you need to access the upper cars is probably the best way to go. I think trying to rehang a ball or something else soft on a string accurately each time would be harder to do, although thinking about it (as I type :) ), you could permanently tape a small hook in one of the ribs (so it is impossible to crush it/pinch it when moving a lift) then have some numbered lightly weighted soft things on string matched to each lift position and car combo which could make it easier to place and remove accurately, and actually could make parking different cars in the same spaces easier (with a large selection of hanging things and multiple hooks under each lift to hang from, centre, left and right for mid engined limited rearward visibility but you can see by sticking your head out the driver's window, LHD and RHD).
Another brilliant video, thank you. Absolutely loved after Tim parked the STO and help his head then had a very happy little bounce, saying it’s a dream come true for the schmuseum. The excitement is contagious x
Awesome to see how genuinely excited and happy Tim is with these lifts/setup. Such an epic milestone to have reached! Congrats!! Also: as many others have noted, putting in some led lights around and under the lifts/ramps would look awesome!! color changing led strips would be epic!!!

Seeing this come to reality over the years….Tim’s vision to execution is the antithesis of dreaming big, keeping to your convictions and seeing it through. Point being with fortitude anything is possible.
Well done Shmee, out of all the channels you are the best, always humble, cracking a joke and keeping us entertained. Never a dull moment watching your vids, you deserve the best fam. May you be blessed with just the utmost best of success. Thank you for sharing your beasts with us 👌 you are a pure example of being kind and yourself pays off at the end of the day. God bless you all. 💯💥💯
for some reason with the light, I really got a great look at the pearl on the 63's paintwork, looked spectacular, especially on those bulbous fender flairs. sooo good.
I love the way this looks so cool to see all the cars on the lifts. Maybe some lines or marks on the ground for the lower cars to help with backing and space to be able to open the doors.
It looks like something you might find in a video game garage, but even better! I'm happy for you Tim. I can see from your reactions how amazed and appreciative you are over getting to see these dreams coming true. Very cool stuff indeed!
Straight up, this channel is fast becoming my favourite one of the 2. Love the relaxed vibe and all the improvements to the Shmuseum. NGL, I was worried about SLS and McLarens going underneath because of their door mechanisms. Can't wait to see all the cars in there. 👍
Same, I much prefer this over the regular channel. You really don't see stuff like this anywhere else that I'm aware of, and it really shows how much thought, planning and effort goes into maintaining a collection
Tim is was really cool seeing you acting like a child enjoying parking the cars in their spots on the lifts and under. Truly can’t wait to see the full build of the barn.
Hi Tim. You are like a little kid in a candy shop. ! Love it.! Congrats. Not only did you instantly double your space but they do look awesome. Maybe another 2 in future?? 😉
A cool photo shoot with those 8 cars on and under the lift would be to have the building dimly lit, then the cars with their headlights or running lights on. Good work guys, the whole space is coming together!
