Great idea! It would have been nice though if you could have backed up and showed us a shot of the entire enclosure from the back of the house looking at the house - it would have been great to have seen it in its entirety. Looking to make something similar for my cats and looking for a video on how to do it yourself.
Thats by far THE BEST CAT ENCLOSURE Ive seen. Many others look beautiful & fancy but all the cats can do is basically lay around in them outside (which is far better than being locked inside), but yours is BRILLIANT & enables them to really act like a cat needs to!!!!! Yours will be happy cats that get to climb & manoevre in many natural ways that cats are meant to!!! I'm VERY IMPRESSED that you've really thought about your cat's needs, rather than your enclosure being mostly just pretty & professional to fit in with the look of your home decor !!! A BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!!
This is by far one of the best cat closure I've seen. There are so many things for the cats to do so many different textures baskets hanging wood planks you name it it is really cool hats off to you for making an awesome cat enclosure. My cats would be so jealous
This is by far my favorite cat enclosure I've ever seen on RU-vid! So creative and tons of different great climbing spots and more challenging obstacles that any cat would absolutely love. You are a really wonderful cat parent to make such an elaborate and dynamic enclosure for your cat!
This is the best!! A lot of enclosures are way overbuilt with their carpeted walkways and sturdy perches giving the cats no challenge at all. Yours really challenges them to use their balancing skills just like a real tree in the wild would. Great job!!
Very nicely done! Cat enclosures and cat tunnels are so healthy for your cats! They stimulate the mind, build muscles, reduce fat, and improve balance and coordination. I plan to build a new one at our new house that is unique. I plan to attach pressure and motion sensors such that the cats movements will trigger useful functions such as watering the garden. I will attach a Scotch yoke to their cat wheel so that by running in the wheel they can pump water uphill from a rain cistern. Who says that cats are lazy useless animals? My aren’t!
Justin Lau I made holes through every piece in both ends. Then I took a steel wire through the holes. Afterwards I placed a closed hook in both side ...maybe 20-25 cm between each hook. Then I putted the rope through the hooks in both side and hung the bridge up :)
Now that's how our enclosure needs to be made, with plenty of things to climb on besides platforms. I love how the cat explares and love the little hammocks. I want one in ours for my cat Indy. He loves his indoor hammock. Sleeps in it all the time.
This enclosure is a 10/10! Amazing! You have to make another video about this and how you designed it! I was also planning doing something like this, just a little bit different.
I’ve been watching videos of several cat enclosures but they’re always the cats in their new environment. HOW DO I GET THE INFORMATION to create one of these wonderful environments myself?
nice job. good for kittys motor skills. the hanging basket could do with a nail over the top of the wooden beam. pinning the string against the beam to stop it sliding. bit less perilous if that makes sense.

@@TheCarlosmor - I was just reading about Abysinians and Somalis. Somalis have Abysinian lineage I think? Everyone is right, you were very creative with your designs for the kitties! Also great that you used wire small enough. One thing I learned in 10 years of having a habitat, was that the bigger wire can let birds in, & once the cats figure this out, they will lie really still in wait for the poor unsuspecting birds. If a person has bigger wire, they can use some small netting to keep the birds out, but I think it's better to have the small wire in the first place. Nothing sadder than finding a small pile of feathers on the ground inside the enclosure, all that's left from a feathered friend who didn't realize the danger.. 😭
Awesome.! I’m building one for my cat and the rope bridge and lattice rope are a great idea as mine is a 2 story one. Thank you for sharing. As for the dislikes...get a life.
PS I forgot to tell you how absolutely beautiful your cats are one of them reminds me of a fox when it walks a certain way and when you see the back of it just beautiful

Kay Chareon No they have never fallen down. They are playing hunting games and runs after each other....especially inside at the "bridges" under the sealing (on the other video cat design...) 😊

I think they need walkways etc that are sturdier eg wider and less flimsy so that they can feel secure on what they are walking on. And places they can lay on high up which are at least the width of their bodies.
Pam Hawkins I’m Danish and my English is not that well. Here in Denmark we call it “voliere net “. In the stores here there are different types. This type is also used for cages for small parrots, minks...maybe “aviary net” in English.

Strange catio, especially the crooked hanging black basket. Cat had to walk carefully over wooden stick bridge, wonder how fast he can cross it in case of loud thunder & rainstorm, when he wants to get back in the house asap. PS terrible music!
