Very nice job on the skirting, bridges and tugboat. I think the boat looks awesome with the lights dim. Creates the illusion of a waterway, but without limiting access to the inside of the layout. Thanks for sharing
Looks great! I'm impressed with your railroad to start with and having neatened things up and putting the skirting around the layout really makes a big difference. I like the way you have secured your bridge! I like both the storm effects and the tugboat. Both are interesting little touches that help bring your railroad to life. Fun video! Bill B.
The boat idea is interesting. You could have a cart with wheels that you roll in and out of the way and on top of the cart, your main boat could hover or be close to the cart, but the cart top section could have other tugboats around. So, if you need to get into that area, just roll the cart out of the way. Regardless, experimenting is always good and if you like it, then it's up to you to decide if you want it. - Thanks for sharing!!!
Looks great. I just put a skirt around my layout, used black fabric Attached mine with Velcro, my wife sews so she took care of putting the Velcro on the fabric and the I stapled the other side of the Velcro to the layout. We is what a difference
Dt shoreline, that is fastrac ?when u do a bridge like yours, you just cut track and add a wire for power to bridge track from transformer ? Hopefully I didn’t confuse you, I’m thinking of doing a bridge like yours in the future so I can lift out when needed Thanks for any advice 👍 I like the thunder storms
Yes track power to bridge watch your polarity is the same cut fast track bottom side with hack saw the plastic then flip over and cut rails where you marked them with a dremel with a small whizzer wheel
