@@User8vfjhejfI understand that as that’s the case with psa. But maybe don’t complain so much if you’re still sending/using them anyway?? I see so many comic content creators bitch about cgc non-stop but then have purchase vids or mail days with nothing but them being used.
The CGC reps at shows need remedial training. I was at a card show in Florida and started talking to them about cards and the grading company TAG. NONE of the reps knew who they were and I literally went back to my table to show them a few TAG cards. How do you not know your competition, even a smaller one? Sadly, it was just a bunch of millenials with no card training who were more interested in their phones than drumming up business during the show. SMH
Neo, Wow, they didn’t even offer you a discount or anything for the issues…not surprising!!!! I had my last order lost when they were shipping it back to me! I have had very little help from them outside of the email that says they are working on it with their insurance carrier and it could take 90 plus days to resolve. I continue to be disappointed/shocked that a company like CGC could have taken the hobby by storm and really made an impact on PSA continues to drop the ball at every faucet!!!!! We as collectors really have no other chose than to drink the PSA kool-aid if we want to be in the graded space!!!!
Imagine if you hadn’t followed up and just went along with what the company told you…such a failure at so many levels and no way is it a coincidence it all just happened with you. Thanks.
A lot of big black marks on the records of big grading companies recently (PSA/BGS/CGC). Is SGC next? Are we finally coming to a conclusion to use some of the other grading services out there? I just sent in cards to Arena Club. TAG Seems really cool. There's other options.
I really like their slabs for my PC cards. I signed up for the membership, as you got more in grading credit than it cost for the membership. I sent in my first order and they charged my credit card instead of using the grading credit. They said it was an error in the system and I would be refunded. That was about 6 months ago. Still haven't been refunded, but they just keep giving me more grading credit. Up to about $250 now.
