You are amazing in doing alteration 🙌 all the jackets you altered turned out better than the original design. Beautiful pieces, Emilie. Classic and timeless. Some pieces you’ve had for 17 years and still look new ❤️
Hi Monique, Thanks so much for your lovely comment. I've been doing a lot of transformation, but only show the good ones ;-). The quality of the older Chanel jackets are incredible, so they always look eternal. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video :-)
Thank you, Emilie! You inspired me so much. I've just started my Chanel collection and your videos allways make me to dig for something new to add 😁 the White shirt - jacket looks so fresh and summery. Pity you didn't give more details about the transformations you make. But maybe next your project you decide to video fix in details, step by step? And as I can see, you like also Chanel shoes? You can tell about All your Chanel collection including all Chanel pieces, I am just ready and exited to watch it! 😍😁😊
I enjoyed this video as much as part 1! The quality of these garments are just exquisite! Also your creativity in transforming these garments is also fantastic! You are able to buy a garment of any size and alter it to suit your size and style! I love that you have a catalogue of pictures of your transformations and the original Chanel designs aswell! I love all the details you showed of each garment!
Hi , You made my day 😁, thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate it. I'm so glad you enjoyed the videos, I will definitely do more in the future. Some of Chanel's iconic pieces are way above my budget, so I improvise 😉. It's a lot of trial and error 🙄. I do mess up sometimes, so I undo everything and start over. It's very time consuming and puts a toll on my patience 😜. I have learnt a lot, and mistakes are fortunately less frequent 😀. I must say Chanel jackets are wonderful to work with. Take care and thanks again 😊
@@emilieworksinchanel after watching your videos I made another eBay purchase haha! This time it's a wool long top and skirt set but I think I can get away with wearing the long top as a dress after checking the measurements against my body. It's was under $650 USD so I jumped at the deal!
Hi, You should try the second hand market such as the Real Real, Vestiaire Collective, etc...Used jackets can go from 300 and up depending on condition and style. Good luck :-)
You have a really nice collection of jackets! Unfortunately we don't get to see any of them fully and some of the details are obscured by light and the closeness of the camera and the angle of the light.
Hi Anna, thanks again, I wouldn't be able to do any video of my transformation, because most of the time I'm not sure what I'm going to end up with 🙄. It's a hit or miss situation , and I've messed up a couple of times before 😔. The summery top I did was pretty easy and straightforward 😊. The shoes I'm wearing aren't Chanel. They are Jonak bicolor shoes from Paris, and the shoes in the part 1 video are from Brunate(I fell in love with the round heels). But I do love Chanel shoes as well 😉
Thanks Ann 😌 The prices have doubled for most preloved Chanel jackets. Now you can find them from 700€ or more depending on the style. Check out Vestiaire or The Real Real. Good luck and thanks for watching.
Hi Marney, Thanks for watching my video. Some of my jackets have quilted lining (non are shown in this video), but most of them don't. It's usually the style that wears like a cardigan that are quilted 🙂
@@nanamania6085 Hi, Sorry for the delay, I just saw your message. The English version of my French book " Defilé Chanel" is "Chanel Catwalk". I hope this helps , cheers to you 😁
Hi Karina, I'm sorry but every time I alter a jacket it's a hit or miss. I couldn't give instructions on how to do it, when most of the time I'm struggling. Takes time and patience, only try it, if you like sewing by hand (that's the secret). Good luck, by the way what is IG? Thanks for watching 😌
