Colonel McGee Flew in Support of USAAF Bombers in Europe and Scored One Victory Against a Luftwaffe Focke-Wulf FW 190 in Italy. He was a Tuskegee Airman and later flew jets in Korea and Vietnam.
Colonel McGee was photographed as part of my COMBAT PILOTS project.

Orders are despatched all over the world.
I call my recording with Colonel McGee a "chat" rather than an interview. It is very informal and was made so I could write out the transcript and refer back to it later. It was not intended to be broadcast. I hope you will forgive me for this and enjoy the chat for what the Colonel says, rather than judge the video on the poor quality of the recording and the interview technique.
I voice-Skyped Colonel McGee because I was unable to see him face-to-face. I photographed most of my pilots myself; however, Michael Schoenholtz in Portland, Oregon, photographed all my American pilots.
I spoke to the colonel as part of a project I am doing where I photograph combatants (40 so far ... and counting) and get their stories for use in photo books I am writing.
I sincerely hope you enjoyed my chat with this heroic man.
And please like, subscribe and share my video and my channel.
Kindest regards
John Martin Bradley
