These reddit threads usually advise people to gather evidence first and contact a lawyer, I was surprised he did everything out of order but luckily it still worked out. @@AECH_CH they are really in love and trust their significant other to a fault. They are pretty much defenseless and sitting duck when situation like this occur. Not saying that what they are is is perfectly fine but it is what it is.

I heard the first story before and I'm happy, that OP pulled through with the divorce. It's also very good to hear, that the ex wife has to pay him money and not the other way around. to be honest, the thing about one person having to pay to the other shouldnt have anything to do with the income in the situations, i feel like the one that needs to pay is the one that cheats. and of course the one that cheats is also the one that doesnt get to see the kids as much and all that. if there is only one house the one that cheats doesnt get to be in it... is just common sense to me, if you are cheating, you need to be the one that faces all the bad consecuences of what you did.

Like forget the income, the house and anything else, but why would you grant a cheater custody? For me the child is doomed to hate their victim parent, because the cheater will Twist the Story in their favour.
Story 2 makes me sad. I understand her situation. Being bullied and black balled by a sibling. Used and then abused when they no longer need something. She is not obligated to invite her sibling, and it sounds like this sister completely runs the show in that family. What a narc.

Story 2 is showing me why I am glad that I am not inviting any relatives to my wedding next year and we are keeping it very small. Relatives love to keep drama going and think that because you are related that you are suppose to put up with them. Family and relatives are TWO completely different things.

Second story, they probably see her as the golden child. The one the parents put all their attention into. Especially the older sisters, probably had to sacrifice time and things in order for the parents to look after her. For all we know, there might have been extenuating circumstances. Maybe she wrote herself to be a victim We can only speculate . Maybe her boyfriend is rude to the other siblings. For Story 2, she says she is indifferent but she is going out of her way to plan her wedding around her sister’s due date and will intentionally invite her to the wedding only to put her at the kiddie’s table out of spite. Why? Just don’t invite her and remove her from your life rather than act this way.

The last story rubs me the wrong way for sure. "My parents always treated all of us the same" immediately followed by "I spent a lot more time with my mom than my siblings" is a red flag.
