That was Gerards screams. They did a edit of it, so they can put it in the original song, and then him singing so it sounded like he was doing multiple things, that's how they use to edit in the early 2000s. Even Gerard said in a interview it was him originally and when it was the official music video he just mouthed the words for the screaming part because around that time in the video you can see Frank's mouth isn't open its Gerards. And for the live concerts, Gerard doesn't sing his parts because (most celebrities will just mouth the words because the song is on with them incase they forgot the lyrics) but he does the screaming at the concerts too.
Weird share. I thought The Black Parade would be a good listen while on acid. I wasnt wrong, but during the final chorus I experienced ego death and in my experience everything went quiet except for the vocals and it was all I could hear on loop for around 5 minutes. Hearing the end in this accapella kinda takes me back to that moment.
