To the people wondering about the guitar part: Tracks are sometimes combined with other tracks to either A) reduce the number of layers in the music and thereby fit better on the album, or B) sound better in stereo.
@@AnthonyStatenMusic hahahaha thank you for correcting this. The most ridiculous explanation was that they had to combine the fucking vocals and guitar to "fit better on the album"
"Well if you carry on this way, things are better if I stay! So long, and goodnight. So long, and goodnight........" I love the whole thing but the end is my fav for some reason. MCRying
FUN FACT: the last song MCR ever sang live together before breaking up was this song, meaning the last words they ever sung were "So long and goodnight"
THE HARMONIZATION. Also, I want this to be played at my funeral. I feel like it has more emotion since you can hear the straining in Gerard's voice. I don't know that's what I think. I love this.
But what you did is great!!!! I had expected no instrumentation at all, but I had fallen in love with a different channel's vocal track of this so much till I had forgotten what ANY kind of instrumentation sounded like with this, so thank you.
The parts that really have just vocals GET ME. ugh. I love the minimal instruments, though- it sounds so cool (I'm like critiquing all of your videos, sorry ;))
This hits me really hard without the majority of the instrumentals, Gerard has such a beautiful and powerful voice. His range is amazing and he can harmonise so well it hurts. You can hear all the layers to the vocals and it's just amazing.
Good glob, hearing Ray's vocals makes me wish they had more of just the two of them singing like. In the little Thank You For the Venom bit in LotMS. God, I love when they harmonize so much holy crud
