I've been seeing a lot of "Can I still be a killjoy even if I just started listening to MCR?" questions, and the answer is simple. Anyone can be a killjoy if they want, it doesn't matter when you started listening to them. Ray Toro himself said, "It's kind of dumb; everybody should be able to listen to the kind of music they want, and just because you're a fan of a band for a longer period of time doesn't mean you have a greater stake of claim to the band or the music."
Get off the edge and drop the knife. Not a victim of a victim's life. Because this isn't a room full of suicides, we're believers, I believe tonight. We can leave this world, leave it all behind. I really love the lyrics in this song...
+Mason Drake Teachers are always correcting grammar. Like when you say, "Can I use the bathroom?" they'll say something like "I don't know, CAN you?" They mean that the "can" should be "may" and that the student should have said "may I use the bathroom"
they say dont judge a book by its cover or dont judge a song by its title... But I'm telling you MCR make their titles so appetizing MAN! Love There's no way you cant click on the songs as soon as you see the title!
one of the most underrated songs of Danger Days, it's my absolute favorite. When Gerard says "let the walls come down, let the engines roar" I get goosebumps every time❤
I've listened to this song for many times before and I liked it very much, but never did I feel its power like now. It is practically the only reason for me now, that gives me a bit of hope, and sort of prevents me from thinking about the terrible things my weak and hopeless mind has been telling me to do.. I don't care if this probably has a totally different meaning but I just feel that through this song, Gerard is directly telling me to not give up. I know it's not about that, but as cliche as this sounds it's the main reason I'm still alive.
this is a bit random, but why tf am I running into so many similar people on RU-vid, but never IRL? like I found someone make a harry potter reference in an MCR song, and a book nerd who is also a part of the phandom, who likes anime. IRL, I never find people who have at least one of these interests.
"We can live forever if you've got the time." Separate responses to this verse: 1. AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT. 2. Uh, yeah, the time is 8:55am. 3. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO LIVE FOREVER. I STILL HAVE HOMEWORK TO FINISH.
;_; This makes me jump in happiness and cry... Sometimes I wish I where a Killjoy like in the music videos... Anyways, I'm a proud Killjoy right now :'D
I discovered mcr the summer before the reunion concert. The welcome to the black parade music video kept popping up on my recommended and I finally caved in and watched it. I'm so glad I did, because even though I'm not emo, I've discovered an amazing community that supports each other. Thanks killjoys, for being so awesome.
just showed my parents this song and I got the nod of approval from my dad and my mom said I already told you I liked this song...I'm on the path of turning them into killjoys
i started listening to mcr when i was 13.. 22 now and theyre still my favorite band. literally every single song is so good, from bullets all the way to danger days (and every unreleased album in between lol)
OMFG This song used to play on The Buzz radio station!!!!!! Its one of my childhood memoirs. Same whit Welcome To The Black Parade. God I never knew it was My Chemical Romance
I told my friend this song was about Frank but she said it was about Lindsey because Lindsey has black hair. She had blonde hair on 2010 and guess who had black hair. Frankie
"Where the good guys die and the bad guys win" Meaning they'll never win but die trying. But later in the album in destroya they say "but In the enemy" then later "I guess were the enemy" so they believed they'll win the whole time
Its so so refreshing to hear things that you have never heard before idk why i have never heard this before but im crying coz it feels so good to hear something new
I lost track of how many times I have listened to this on repeat. This song is just so powerful and emotional. I'm on the edge of tears everytime I hear it, something that hasn't happened in a long time.
this is definitely becoming one of my favorite songs if all time. Seriously, I'm constantly humming/singing this song the line "it's not about the friends you made but the graffiti they write on your grave" gives me life tbh
ATTENTION ALL My Chemical Romance FANS On December 26th (before if you can't make it) we will all watch Na Na Na in honor of the greatest band ever's glory. Let's give them the best present ever: the highest viewed video on RU-vid!! Let's give them what they all deserve! Copy and paste, etc., you know the drill. PS: To whoever thought of this originally - you deserve a medal
They'll always be holding them back for us.. We can listen to these songs always and forever if we want! They've already saved us even in absence.. And there are more KillJoys than ever now. EmO is back anyway. But No One will ever replace MCR. They saved me. And MANY millions more
what a fucking good song. the lyrics hit fuckin HARD. one of my favorite my chemical romance songs. no joke, it gets me so hyped up, but it makes me cry so damn hard sometimes. gonna go on an emotional rant here, but this song helped me get out of some of the worst and most depressing moments of my life.
Emo doesn't stand for someone who cuts them self or wears black or any of those other stuff that people think. Emo is a music genre. Not a person. Not anything else.
I feel like this song should have and still should be on the top of all the charts it's beautiful and it doesn't tell ppl to go #### themselves it's a beautiful song
"i'm the only friend that makes you cry, you're a heart attack in a black hair dye" Just for the record, I don't give a fuck about the world, he is talking about Frankie 💐👌
For me the history of the kill joys would had been perfect with four songs in the time line of the kill joys' fights, first na na na, the second part with the ony hpe for me is you with the kill joys planning entry to the secret base of the villians looking for the young girl, the trid part with a suppoused death of the kill joys in SING but achiving save the young girl, and the last part with this great song showing the kill joys returning the life and after destroying the big factory and giving a open ending for a possible aftermath.
+LilaXYX2.0 The Animatronic Cat You could, but I think you don't want to cry while listening to "Im Not Okay (i promise)" once a year. Thats the only bad part xD
and YOU, my friend, are a prime example why the current generation and the WAYY older generations need to be taught how to tolerate things. :) sit tight, have a great day, and switch that tampon, bro. why are you here if you hate this band and their listeners so much? by saying that, you're literally throwing yourself into the spotlight here and earning yourself unnecessary hate.
i want to curl up in a ball and cry but at the same time go out and just punch the dickhead people in my life when i hear this song. the "you motherfucker" part gives me so much energy for some reason sjjdmfkg why do i love when people swear
