You’re fortunate to have found people who accept you as you are. That’s a huge bonus in this world. You look 15. Hard to believe you are married.

You express yourself very well. I self diagnosed autistic last year at the age of 36. I find it very hard to express myself, i often lose my train of thought mid-sentence or can’t find the words I need. I want to educate my husband as to what autism is. Watching videos like this helps me to think about how I can explain autism to him, and, my son is also autistic and I’d love my husband to understand us more so he can support us.

Hey thanks for this video. I have trouble driving too, I'm 28 without a license. I remember being in school and I would just "zone out", without trying, I would start taking notes and then get into a daydream and the bell would ring, time gone. I am so happy that you now have people around you that accept you and a husband to love you and that you give attention so that not make anyone feel uncomfortable. I think this is one of the most important things for a human, to feel free around him.. i think depression comes out when one is hiding something inside that cannot communicate, so care for your self's needs and stay authentic, because the most precious treasure is soul... These are all we have, and then God and one another... I really understand you... I don't think you would ever think of being an attorney, or maybe a notary would be a more suitable job for you... Because this is my last option i have, to study law, because I feel really drained from trying to make a living from art... I would really love to study graphic design as you did (i read that in your etsy shop, if I don't make a mistake) but I can't... Ok, maybe world needs another autistic lawyer as well, these things I wanted to share with you and give me good luck because you seem a clear person with good and kind heart

I have so many similarities! And I was born in the 60s...so generations apart but similar traits. I didn't speak til i was 4, I loved Lions (esp Aslan from Narnia books) I hated dolls but loved lions, i could go on but your story is so close to mine that it's a real gift for me. Доброго вечера! И снова спасибо. Очень смеялась. Я была одержима котами (до сих пор), и даже просила ко мне так относиться/называть. Наверное, это выглядело как то, что я просто играю. Но чуть больше, чем просто: я лично не помню, но мои родители рассказывают, что как-то мы пришли в гости к их друзьям. И в один прекрасный момент хозяин дома, зайдя на кухню, обнаружил меня там на четвереньках, поедающую корм их кота 😅 (Мне было года 2 плюс-минус.) Мне до сих пор интересно, это вкусно или нет было, но никто не догадался спросить. И тоже мама вспоминала, что я могла целый день играть одна, и никогда не нуждалась во внимании и присутствии особенно, ночью они тоже прекрасно спали. Сестра у меня совершенная противоположность. Кстати, тоже задержка речи была. Только несколько слогов произносила, а в 3,5 года я сразу начала говорить сложными предложениями. И ещё вспоминаю, что для меня было была паника, если для меня пересекались два знакомых мне, но незнакомых друг другу человека (сейчас спокойнее, но все равно большой стресс). И читать научилась поздно (5,5 лет), но буквально за день запомнила все буквы и пошла шпарить любимого "волшебника изумрудного города" (которого мама отказалась читать в 50й раз наотрез и у которого позже отвалился переплет от моего усердия, а ничего другого я признать не хотела). Кстати, у вас нет дислексии? Чуть-чуть похоже, но я не очень разбираюсь, интересно, как вы сами оцениваете.

Не думали ли вы написать книгу про свою жизнь с расстройством аутистического спектра? Мне кажется, у вас очень хорошо получается рефлексировать.

Я думаю моя дочь тоже аутист, хотя врачи не замечали, очень сложно выражать мысли, рисует всегда одно и тоже, очень красиво рисует, единственное наверное занятие, когда она может долго сидеть на одном месте. Но она очень нервно реагирует на просьбы, если ей что-то не нравится. Может кричать долго… ей уже почти 8 лет😢

В Литве к РАС у детей относятся очень внимательно. Есть различные программы лечения, консультации ,инклюзивное обучение и дополнительные спец педагоги в школах. Без больших хлопот можно получить группу и кое какие выплаты (на логопеда и других частных специалистов) Однако, очень часто родители не обращаются за помощью, думая что как то само собой рассосётся... а время проходит.

У меня тоже были проблемы с вождение машины, как и другие трудности схожие с тоими. И мне много удалось снизить. Или чуть лучше контролировать свое состояние, чтоб оценить способность на данный момент справится с какой то моей трудностью восприятия иди общения..

Мне 45.многие вещи я научилась делать позже. Ноделаю это лучше чем другие, нейротипичные
