Even if he got out in exchange for snitching, he and his family could find themselves caught up in some fatal boating incident. It’s why you should ask for witness protection to be included in such deals with law enforcement.
@@maskedmarvyl4774 Both, really. Prisoner would've survived and Hank would have at least got information from the prisoners unlike what actually happened
They can’t use money when they’re in jail, they have all the upsides to talk, and there’s no Gus to punish them if they do talk. Mike was being dumb not to run when he had the chance
To my understanding, queen for a day like a proffer. He can testify, but the prosecution has limited scope as to what they can use from his own testimony against him. He wouldn't get complete immunity, but his liability based on what he said to charge him would be limited. At least thats they way i understand it. However. If his testimony contradicts what actually happened, it can be taken into account, and he can be considered not credible, in which case the agreement is no longer valid. It's a good deal for him if he is willing to tell 100% the truth no matter what and it can be backed up in court but total immunity is probably the best bet, since he is probably not wanting to admit some of the shit that went on there.
And as I remember it from The Sopranos a 5k letter is a letter from the prosecutor to the judge recommending leniency due to your cooperation or information that you furnished for the investigation. I don't think it's anything set in stone it's just a recommendation for sentencing and letting the judge/prosecutor know that you cooperated
@@HerculesRockefellerESQ ohh that makes sense, since I'm not American I don't know how that legal system works, so I thought 5k was 5k dollars, but that was too little money 😅
