My clutch was too heavy! Fixed! Scorpa / Sherco trials bikes.
I was struggling to pull the clutch on my 2017 scopa trials bike so I needed a lighter clutch pull, I fixed the problem by replacing the clutch spring and pre charge washer. This also works on sherco trials bikes.
I bought the parts from AG bikes (UK), links below...
Clutch diaphragm spring B/7786

EDIT: After a bit more research we found there is also a 2.4mm pre charge washer
B/7787.
This has made the clutch even lighter and very nice to use.

Incredible how sensitive to stack height diaphragm clutches are, I went from 10.3mm to 9.6mm and it changed from a full hand nightmare to super light buttery dream. Never thought .7mm would make such a massive difference.

Can you remember what you put in yours? I've ordered another pre charge washer to play with as I still think it could be lighter

If your not in a rush, we're going to do some experimenting with a different pre change washer to see if we can get it any better still. Ill reply on here to let you know how we get on. Thanks for watching 😊

We now have a 2.4mm pre charge washer fitted along with the thinner diaphragm spring, which makes the clutch a pleasure to use. If you in the UK, MRS (the old sherco importers) have a sale on all parts. So if you want to do this I'd recommend: Clutch diaphragm spring B/7786 Pre charge washer B/7787

Thanks for the update. I'll get the 2.4mm washer ordered. The diaphragm arrived yesterday, hoping this makes the clutch more manageable with diaphragm and washer changed 🤞🏁
