I just ordered 2 unsealed copies of the original and for only $28 ($14 each) so I can very much say the new polybag is NOT worth it lol.

Yeah, for the price tag, I kind of hoped for more than just a lackluster story about a villain we'll never see again and an armband. But I did enjoy the formatting of the book and the quality of the armband.

Was it worth the sacrifice for you? I personally feel it was pretty cool to be able to enjoy the contents. Hopefully it lived up to what you were expecting.

So how do we tell the 1st print of The Death of Superman? Comic book? I purchased my particular book in 92 / 93 here in Canada, mine has the bar code and the red lettering , do you know what print that would be ?

The numbered print of the book (if it isn't a first print) would be indicated by a roman numeral under the price in the upper left hand corner next to the issue number. I'm not sure what print yours is, as I'm having a hard time finding a print that has a bar code with a red lettered logo.

I have 3 copies of that comic you have CGG graded. Do you know the difference in the death of Superman booklet w 175 pages or so with 4.95 price? Which ones are 1st editions the blue with red and yellow superman vs the silver ones with blue and black superman names

They are probably different prints, like 1st print, second print, etc. You can tell by a roman numeral under the price tag.
