The Being shoutout! Soo stoked that you enjoyed it man! This collection is INSANE. Now I’ll be watching this one constantly to find movies to add to the collection 🤣
I love how unapologetically yourself you are. I rarely find someone who has such a similar taste with my own. Great video, it was a really fun watch. Made a list of movies i have never seen.
Awesome video. Incredible horror collection. And some amazing slipcovers. And I love that Burning steelbook so much. And The Collector & Collection are incredible horror movies.
Great collection buddie. Loads of ideas from your vids so thanx for that. Been trying to get The Barn for ages but always unavailable unfortunately so annoying. Will keep trying. Also like your shelving units too 👍
Amazing horror movie collection. I really like that you appreciate King's "IT" Mini-series and also that you dig Lucio Fulci films. Very impressed with all those titles you have👍👍
Awesome video & awesome collection! Sorry I'm so late to the party! Lol. Anyways, the highlights of your collection (For me) is your 50s / 60s sci-fi horror titles. Those are so awesome! If you ever need recommendations for more, please let me know. A large chunk of my Horror collection is from 1920 - 1959. And you definitely need to check out the other 2 Quatermass movies (Quatermass 2 & Quatermass & The Pit). You will not be disappointed. Once again, Great Collection! I would love to see an update.
Nice collection. I’m surprised not to see The Fog(1980 version) or Phantasm in there. I recommend you check them out if you haven’t already. Two of my all time favorite movies.
Love the collection videos! Since you mention you are a metal fan, what are some of your favorite bands? I know you vaguely referenced mayhem while talking about lords of chaos
Thank you for sharing your amazing collection! It’s phenomenal! But I may add (because I didn’t see them in your collection) but Rest Stop (2006), Splinter (2008), The Final (2010), Anaconda Hunt For Blood Orchid (2004) are all great movies!
Great collection! I don't know if it has been released on disc anywhere yet but if the sequel to The Unnamble - The Unnamable Returns - comes out, I'd recommend checking it out anyway. I feel much the same way about The Unnamable as you said, but the sequel (which continues directly on from the ending of the first film, the way Halloween II is a continuation of Halloween) is a much faster paced sequel with a surprising amount of gore.
Nice Horror collection bro. I came here hoping to see King Kong movies and I got my wish. I have a lot of the King Kong movies and a lot of the Godzilla movies. I just got 4 of the Gamera films for my birthday on Friday. I really love Giant Monster Horror sub-genre. The new Godzilla vs Kong was insane.
awesome video and collection. i love how you gave your thoughts on them all. out of curiosity, do you speak german? you have a few german movies so i was just wondering. great vid, i'll be subscribing!
Definitely agree about the region free player! That was probably the best thing I could’ve gotten as a physical Media Collector. Lots of oop titles in America are released overseas so it’s totally worth it if you don’t want to pay ridiculous ass prices.
I'm trying to think of some lesser known films that haven't seemed to get noticed yet. Have you seen the French made Anonymous Animals? Really interesting analogy made literal, but short at 61 mins, and no dialogue or much of a plot, although perfect for the thematic elements to come across. Just raw and simple. Not the most entertaining but very unique and interesting. I have a unique interest in the French horror thrillers and Julia Ducournau recently with Raw and Titane. Also been working thru some of the Claire Denis & Michael Haneke movies I've yet to see. Not exactly "horror" but certain films are at least adjacent or share certain elements.
You have an awesome collection. How long have you been collecting?I'm a new sub so maybe a dumb question, do you collect any Vinegar Syndrome releases?
Thank you! I’ve been collecting for probably 7 or so years. And yes I do! I have several videos on my channel of unboxings and collection videos for Vinegar Syndrome.
Have u watched like every movie u got on ur shelf? If u have ud be amazing at those horror movie quizzes like when u see a scene and have to say what film it's from.
I love American Mary too! On the contrary to most i actually quite liked Autopsy II. Love to see that you have Cold Prey 1-2 and the Dead Snow movies, always awesome to see when people have discovered Norwegian movies. I wouldn't have discovered Dead Mine before now if i hadn't subscribed to Horror Pack a little while ago. Freaky is so awesome! The band Lords of Chaos is about a Norwegian band, not Swedish. I absolutely love Sorority Row, so campy.
I see you say your favorite movie is Mandy…but I haven’t seen you mention the movie that Panos made previously to Mandy called Beyond The Black Rainbow. If you have not seen this and love Mandy, it’s a must! Definitely check it out! It’s what stranger things was birthed from. One of the first “synthwave” or “horror movies based on 80s nostalgia”. Definite slow burn, but it’s all about the colors, cinematography and score.
Hi. Where do you find the movies with slipcover? I’ve been trying to get some that supposed to come with slipcover but when they arrive, it doesn’t come with any slipcover :(
A slipcover is typically only issued during an item’s first pressing. The typical turn over time for them is 3-6 months (or possibly longer) and I buy an item that I want a slipcover for, eBay is your best bet because you know exactly what you’re getting
The scream queens horror heroines exposed and slice and dice documentaries are on the second bonus disc of the Friday the 13th scream factory blu-ray box set so you can get rid of the 88 films blu-rays of graduation day and intruder.
Man I got so many on my buy list after watching the video! I was a bit miffed at the smack talk about Shaun of the Dead. I never liked the film when it came out and only gave it another go after watching the Sci-fi film Paul but love it now! 👍🍺
Love Psycho Goreman, I have the canadian import hunky boy edition of that, Headshot is a fun indonesian action film that like the raid is brutal. If you dig that watch The Night Comes for Us. Controversial, but I really don’t like Ready or Not I find it wastes Samara Weaving’s great talent, I also have that spiders triple feature but only bought it for the first film. You’re Next kicks ass and is a good time for sure. The Nighthouse is underrated and I love Maligant need to get that up king 4K with the amazing artwork.
Surprised you didn’t have hostile pt III The Messengers 2 mirrors 2 or the og mirrors pet Sematary remake the ring 2 or ogs vhs 3 & 4 & theres 5 but that will be on Blu-ray next yr & I know what you did last Summer is getting a 4K next month 25th anniversary edition but great video & Collection btw bro
sat down and watched most of this....seems like you're missing a few movies (maybe you just don't have them in Blu Ray) John Carpenter's The Thing (not the prequel), a couple Peter Jackson movies Dead Alive and the one about aliens that land their spaceship and try to blend in on Earth (I forget the title), and Silent Night, Deadly Night (though it sounds like you've seen it). Also, Dagon.
I used to. I have other videos on my channel of the peak of when I had other genres such as animated/action. I’ve since gotten rid of most of them and only kept a couple dozen of my favorites
Yeah you can’t go into the Suspiria remake thinking of the original, it is hard to do because of how fucking fantastic the original Suspiria looks, it’s like a painting that’s how fantastic the original Suspiria is, the original Suspiria is a literal work of art in movie form. But yeah the remake of Suspiria is great, it’s, it’s own movie and I love the Mia Goth dance scene, best scene in the movie for me, that scene was probably the closest to looking like the original with that beautiful camera shot of Mia Goth when she’s under a spell and looks up, beautiful camera shot.
Thanks for sharing. The original The Stepfather, starring Terry O’Quinn, was an effective piece of cinematic horror. The remake was not, IMHO. Love that steel book of TCM and the 40th anniversary edition. The 03 remake was pretty good and TCM2 was insane. The rest of TCMs are pure dreck, IMHO. And that 2022 version is plain awful. And Underwater was surprisingly solid.
@@slashincaptain4297 Terry O’Quinn just crushes the part. He makes the movie. And the soundtrack even features a Pat Benatar song so it’s got that going for it too 🤪
The original Stepfather is a small classic but the remake and also the Prom Night remake with was directed by the same director are completely trash (in my opinion).
At 1:08:06 he says he's not sure if silent night is meant to be a remake of silent night, deadly night when it literally says on the description on the back that it's a remake
how about this as an idea it's some thing that i do when i watch a movie what i do is write the mpaa number it'll be at the end of the movie up until the mid 70s it was at the beginning of the movie what i do is write that number and how long the movie is on a little post it note and attach to the case at the top a kind of flag if you will if every one that has a large collection could do like wise and find some way to publish it one day maybe some one could collect all of the lists and make one over all list and if some one wants to know when a movie was first put out they could
I agree with you on Leatherface, it’s a good movie I enjoyed it, but it makes no sense as a TCM movie, at all. The character of Leatherface is supposed to be a huge bulk of a guy with learning disabilities, not a lonely depressed guy looking for love. I think people would’ve enjoyed it more if it wasn’t a TCM based movie.
I must’ve missed it but how do you not have Jeepers Creepers 1-2 I’ve always had a huge crush on Scotty’s girlfriend in that movie it’s literally the only reason I watch it I got so lucky to have a chat with her on instagram for a few hours I was trying not so hard not to blush and completely geek out you can probably tell how fast my heart was racing but it was so worth it
FIVE MILLION YEARS TO EARTH AKA- Quatermass and the Pit = 3rd movie The Quatermass Xperiment (a.k.a. The Creeping Unknown in the United States) Quatermass 2
