Im so happy yt recommended this video. I've been watching alot of really good builders lately and this video gave me alot of motivation to keep practicing and practicing. You're an amazing builder btw :)
Wow. This video is incredible. I'd say that I build pretty decently, but there were so many interesting things in this video I never thought of. It was really incredible. I wish you had more subscribers, you really deserve it.
I've been playing Minecraft on and off pretty much since it released, and I am yet to build anything remotely impressive. Whenever I watch someone play Minecraft and I see them building really cool looking houses in survival Minecraft, I get really inspired and boot up the game to build something just as cool. Only to find myself completely stumped as my knowledge on the selection of blocks is very limited, mainly due to the fact I like playing survival and get rid of any block I dont find useful, along with the fact getting a lot of the blocks can be a very grindy process I don't have time for. So the only blocks I'm familiar with is wood and cobblestone, but even then, I can't even build something that looks nice with those blocks. That always inevitably leads me to videos like these that never help me, because I can't seem to grasp any of the techniques the average player uses. I've tried building in creative many times, but I always get incredibly bored and the selection of blocks is too overwhelming. Not to mention but I am unlikely to get 90% of the blocks in survival anyways. Also, I like building things that are functional rather than looking nice. But I am unable to strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality. The best I can build is a box with a very simple roof. Maybe I lack creativity or maybe I lack motivation to even bother trying. I fear that I'll never accend begginer level building skills. Great video by the way. I'll keep trying to improve and apply some of the tips you gave in this video.
Yeah I get that. My video is more geared towards the average creative player, hence the inclusion of building tools. As long as you’re having fun in the game, that’s okay!
First of all, great vid! Second of all, thank you for saying hueblocks isn't always the best XDD i see it mentioned so often for gradients, and although it can help, it's certainly not the most accurate.
I wish those world edit things and cammands work in pocket addition. I have to place every block by myself in creative mode where you just one click. I wish i can afford a PC and get minecraft java.
throughout the time my mind has grown feeble, unwilling and uncooperative to absorb new knowledge or practice anything at all, which makes the notion of attaining new skills seem almost impossible. I don't know, I'm very hesitant when it comes to learning new tools. It is mostly due to how overwhelming the process feels. I lack the motivation severely, as well as the discipline and strong will to move forward, even doing something as simple as building a tree costs me a lot. I really struggle to see any sense in all of this. yet I try to find solace in the fact that I'm already quite good at building, and that I can slowly expand upon what I already know, at my own pace, despite how difficult it is. I don't have to learn all these fancy tools, that are locked behind a paywall, as long as I don't plan on building mega structures or terrains, like some oh so skilled mega builds yet soulless builder. I swear, some of these dudes can build big yet have it look utterly shallow and mediocre. well, maybe I'm just jealous somebody can learn fast and acquire new skills unlike me? I'm so tired fr
