hello, I would like to know your honest opinion, I would like to buy an opel corsa d opc but it would be my only car and I would use it every day. I don't mean commuting or something similar, let's say 20,000 km a year. what more serious and expensive problems does this car have with this engine?
Only major issues are the piston failure and gearbox bearing. Gearbox bearing is not that big of a deal but it still quite expensive. Piston failure mostly means you need a new engine. Everything else is quite cheap and reliable.
Its called many things. You can call it dump valve or even a blow off valve. Because thats what it does. You can be more precise and add a way it moves the air. So recirculating dump/blow-off valve moves the air back to the turbo intake befor MAF.
