Hey! Thanks for the comment, I personally haven’t got one. But I have seen people on LinkedIn and other social media’s getting physical certifications I think you have to pay for them etc.

Do you think the Penetration Tester Job path alone will help in being more confident in cracking easy/medium boxes on the normal HTB platform? I cancelled my normal HTB subscription and signed up for HTB Academy because I found the easy HTB boxes a little too difficult. Also, for the exam, would you say that the course content alone is enough to pass the exam? Also, also, do you think passing this exam will make the OSCP exam easier to pass? Great video! So in my experience doing the job path helped a ton when I went and did the boxes on the HTB platform. Yeah dude as you go through the course content you will slowly become more comfortable with the thought process that is needed when it comes to hacking! For the exam I do think the course content is all you need to pass. I would recommend going back and doing every skill assessment without looking at your notes to help you prepare and maybe do one or two boxes that are part of the htb academy x labs combo if you wanna test your metal! So I have not taken the OSCP yet but I am planning to take it in the coming months. What I can say is that a lot of people that I have talked to say that the OSCP is a piece of cake compared to the OSCP. I've started the HTB Academy PenTester job path and while I'm only a few modules in, I can say confidently that I'm learning more and better with the Academy than I was trying to work through the Easy boxes solo and without context. I'm feeling good about the Academy so far! Thanks again
Thanks for the comment. We have turned down the music a lot in our last 5 vids or so. We have also been acquiring more and more equipment as we go. We are looking at some mikes now and they will be the next thing we get. We are super excited for trying them out :)
It took me about 6 months to complete the course while I was at uni and working. Yeah once you finish the course I think you should go back and redo every skill assessment. If you still want some more practice take a look at the htb academy x htb page which lists all the boxes that should be done to practice for the exam. Appreciate your comment! I started studying for the certification in June of 2023 part-time and I finished the content in March of 2024 so it took quite a while. But if you really grind it I think you can finish the content in about two months
