@@janetannerevans2320 I had a hard time seeing beautiful wood being painted, but as beautiful as it is, no one wants it. So she gives it new life and now there's people that would pay a lot to have it. That's how I look at it. But I can understand where your coming from.
I really love this piece! I think because of the size it reminds me of your older work but still fresh. The base color was beautiful but once you added the paper - well your instincts and artistry just did their Kac’ha thing🤩 🙏
Exquisite! I have no idea how you come up with these combinations. I will look at your first step and think, "Ok, that's a pretty color, but I would have never chosen it," Then I see your next step and think - IT looks GORGEOUS, but how did she think of doing that? Then the paper -- OMG It didn't look right, and I still wondered what did Kacha see in this paper? Then you keep going and going and it gets better and better and then I always LOVE IT!! I have even cried at how beautiful some of your pieces turned out. I have an artistic mind, but I don't know how yours works. You are a genius and furniture art!
This is spectacular! When you get rid of the speckled brown ‘70s finish, you can see all the intricate details. I love the way you do dry brushing and adding gilding wax on the decoupage paper is perfect! I’m so glad you overcame your artist’s block in such a beautiful way!🌸
Kasha, I was skeptical with your color choice at first, but the black wax and paper totally transformed everything! I absolutely love this piece and the hardware is perfect. Your comment about your artist block really helped me too, so in the future I’ll just jump in and try something and see where it leads. Thank you
That buffet was so big and plain it looked like a line of kitchen cabinets, but you turn it into a work of art! I’d like to get a thimble of your artistic talent. Awesome!
