I have the same obsession! I currently have 27 different versions on 6 formats. 10 VHS, 8 DVD, 5 Blu-ray, 2 Laserdisc, 1 BETA, and 1 UMD Video for Sony PSP.
Great Collection buddy. I only have the first one on Blu. I was going to get the others by Scream Factory but I found out that those editions are included in this new Set. People buy a lot of stuff that's going to be out in a Collection soon. I'm currently waiting on True Blood's complete set should be out next year! =D
I'd love to have all the Halloween movies in a bundle pack I guess you'd say on DVD since our living room TV doesn't support the Input jacks for our blu ray player.
I'm definitely buying the set. Not at all for the the producers cut. I won't ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it but I didn't dig it. It too Myers into a really bizarre place. The rest of the extras are more than enough for me to have to have this. I can't wait! Great vid again man. Glad to know someone else as obsessed with this series as me.
One way or the other. 1: One of those releases contain a certain special feature no other later releases contain. 2: Someone likes the way the cover looks. And 3: We just keep getting it not only cause it will have improved quality in terms of picture and sound, but also, We just love the movie so much. Simple as that.
I don't have an obsession with Halloween, but I do love it, and I have done ever since I first saw it. I had been wanting to see it for so long, for years, but back then I had shit internet and my local dvd rental had a very bad selection. Then, on the 30th of October 2008 I read the tv guide, Halloween is showing at 11:35pm the following night. I had plans for the evening but I was going to be home and I was staying up whether my parents liked it or not. I ended up going trick or treating...I was 15, I felt weird doing it, but I did it anyway, I was only going because my friend's younger siblings wanted to. So I ended up going out, in just a tshirt without a jacket. We walked around houses for about two hours and I was quite cold. I got back home and I felt terrible, I knew I had a cold coming on, but Halloween was on, I had to stay up and watch it. So I did. I think I enjoyed it even more because it made me feel better when I was feeling sick, it took my mind off of it. So that is why I'll never forget my first time watching Halloween.
Dam Brendan that's a lot of editions of Halloween but it's really kool to have so many of them I have all the Halloween movies but all on DVD everyone's rips on Rob zombies halloween but I loved em as much as the originals I have Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 on the directors cut edition and the theatrical edition of the film I may wait 2 get the bul-ray box set cause I already own all of them already wait till the price goes down some to save money but it will be nice 2 see what it looks like and get a little excited 2 see it great vid dude
wetmovie1 Awesome video and a great collection. I know what you mean about Anchor Bay but I am hoping that them working with Scream Factory will make them step it up so they don't look like the weak part of the set. My Halloween's in order: Halloween(original) Halloween 2 Halloween 3 Halloween 4 H20 Halloween 666(producers cut) Halloween 5 Halloween Resurrection Halloween 6(directors cut) Zombieween Zombieween 2- I wish I could rate this movie even lower. It was horrible
Awesome collection man! Its so annoying when you dont get a slipcase I'm really unlucky with tv seasons when it comes to slipcases I find. I am edition crazy with many movies especially jaws which is kinda obvious when you look at my picture. I am with loads of movies like night of the living dead where there is like 400 different editions. I want to get many editions of halloween one day when I have some extra cash ha ha I'll have to stick with this complete set coming out for now
You got a great collation there buddy and we only got Halloween resurrection one DVD buddy I seen the other one but I like this one better keep it up buddy :-)
awesome video & great collection. I also love collecting different editions of my favorites films. I have 7 editions of the first Evil Dead film (2DVD+5VHS)
The first one is one of my favourite films of all time. I have it on blu ray, dvd, vhs (regular copy and blockbuster special). I have a poster of the front cover, and a tshirt of the front cover. I love all of the other ones too but the first one is absolutely perfect.
Hey Brendan Great Halloween collection was surprised you didn't have the universal release of halloween 2 on Blu ray it has a great feature with Donald pleasence talking about horror movies called terror in the aisles
Great video as always :) I've already preordered the deluxe limited edition set through amazon sooo excited!! I dont own any on blu yet so its perfect and I had yet to even own all the dvd releases..my favorite horror movie franchise :)
Resident Evil Games Lover www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KDU8HQQ/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00KDU8HQQ&linkCode=as2&tag=halloweenfl00-20&linkId=AWS7A22WEOXJ3DYF
Pretty awesome halloween collection :) I have 1 to 7 on vhs and 1 to 7 on dvd but I be working on halloween blue ray soon :), and I'm as excited as well for this Halloween set. And I didn't care that much for rob zombies halloween look on it. That the two that I dont care for.
I have a 5 Disc Set for H6 which has the Producer's Cut, Director's Cut(basically an Unrated Version of the Theatrical Cut), Rough Cut(basically an Unrated Version of the PC Version), TV Version and a Bonus Disc of Features
Rob Zombie's Halloween is the worst thing to happen to the franchise, I cannot understand how anyone can like his work. This is my favourite franchise and I can't handle him!!! Seriously hoping that he won't be back!
hey, I liked this video its a bit different than a lot of your other videos. I kind got bored with your videos but I would be interested if you did some more like this one. I would like to see more videos like this one. Did you take advantage of the Slasher Video $5 movie sale? I have not seen any of his movies in and of your videos.
I definitely have the same somwhat addiction of the Halloween movie, I don't have as many editions as a lot of people I see on youtube, but I do have a few. I will definitely be getting the Halloween deluxe edition set, I haven't decided yet if I will get it when it is released or if I am going to wait.
I have a few of the over seas versions of the first Halloween one from Japan, Sweden,UK and a dollar store that's all in Spanish. Also have a rare bootleg of Halloween before they made the mask white it was colored or had color can't remember but I have a pretty cool collection. N I love rob zombies versions there different way better then last two.
Hey Brendon I really liked this video. I'm looking forward to getting this set. I don't care for rob zombies versions on the movies. I have all of them on DVD except for rob zombies second one. My favorite halloween is the original second one where Jamie lee Curtis is in the hospital that now was cool.
If you want to get rid of the copy of Halloween 4 that has the signature, why don't you switch the cases so that the copy you want to keep is in the case that has the signature on it?
Does the producers cut of part 6 really make a difference? Sweet update yo. Love me some Halloween. Part 3 is the most underrated horror film of all time.
Logan Toxic Yeppers, there are quite a few differences. The director didn't like Donald Pleasance so much of his footage was removed even his voice over was changed. Jaime does not die at the beginning and the ending is very different as well. Overall the producer's cut is, imho, a much better film.
Yeah. Producer's Cut, ending is completely different, Lumus is in it more, Michael is in it less, its honest a crappier cut, but either way, the movie is bad imo.
Halloween has been milked more than any other film. I have two dvds and the blu ray steelbook. Also had a VHS copy back in the day, probably in a box in the attic now.
Well if they're different formats you have to understand that. 2 Sometimes DVD's or their cases can get ruined or just old so you buy new ones. Plus like Brendan said some have more special features.
Halloween is my favorite , Horror movie series I own it and I want to get that set because it brings back memories for me,but I'm really scared to watch it because the creepiness of the mask and shadows scare me .
Dawn of The Dead is my addiction. I own every US version/edition of the film (and by everything i mean every edition from every format) I have some UK and Japan versions of older formats for it but never went full crazy mode like i did with US versions because i still have some of my sanity.
I actually dont go crazy for Halloween too much but I love part 3!! the only movie I buy a bunch of editions of is Dawn of the Dead, I own the theatrical, Argento cut in single copies plus the massive one that holds all of em and the Vhs ones lol, good cover of Halloween though! Check out the Film Fix channel too!
Halloween's collection by far was way better than Friday the 13. The only ones I liked were 1,2 possibly 3, possibly Jason goes to hell, Jason X and Freddy vs Jason and the remake. Everything else is just crazy. Same goes for Nightmare on Elm Street just the original, possibly 2, Freddy is dead and the remake. However nearly 7 or 8 out of 10 of the Halloween franchise is good.
I own multiple editions of certain movies as well. Halloween i own the 25th anniversary edition dvd, the new digibook blu ray and the 25 years of terror documentary. Evil Dead I own the collectors version from anchor bay and the new steel book, George Romeros Dawn of the dead i own the Ultimate edition and the anchor bay blu, Day of the dead i have the 2 disc dvd from anchor bay and the blu ray and plan on getting the scream factory blu as well. I also have 2 versions of Happy Birthday to me on dvd with 2 different soundtracks lol
Michael Duh! Freddy talks too much Michael just does! He can squeeze you like an orange. Jason is just a glorified muddy corpse who died long ago. Chucky doesn't even get an audition. Ghostface is the 4th man your looking for in the fatal four way. Ghostace would put up a fight and might be able to take out Freddy seeing as in Scream 3 He was in Sidney's dreams and day illusions. But at last Michael would kill all three with his eyes shot out.
dude i love the Halloween series the original ( 1978 ) and Halloween 2 ( 1981 ) are some of my all time favorite horror films ! ... i think the franchise starting going downhill with Halloween Resurrection ...
I also didn't like a whole lot the rob zombie remakes as slasher movies they are great but as halloween movies they lack quite a bit of soul.. And yes also for me Danielle Harris was what made them passable... Right now living in Italy makes it nearly impossible to get anything collectible or that is not dubbed in Italian 😑
OK. BRENDEN! You have a problem. With buying physical movie media. I am going to round up all your viewers, including CoolDuder and Gabe and myself... And we're going to all sit you down at a round table and all have an intervention for you. We all love you but care too much about your future and the path you're taking in your life, in regards to moving collecting. There will also be a two week vacation, that we will be implementing so you can be removed from places such as Best Buy, Amazon and Frys, to further your recovering process. Again, we all love you and this is only for the betterment of your own life and not ours! XD
Personally, I was never that big of a fan of the Halloween series. The first 3 (yes even Halloween 3) were great but after Halloween 4 in 1988, the series turned to crap. The plots were just a complete abomination. I'd have been happy with Carpenter keeping it at 3 rather than letting what happened to the series, happen
